... Meh. Lobster isn't really a rare, rare mount. I see quite a few. I do suppose I should add it to the list though.

Uh, forgot that too. No, I was talking about the Anniversary mount, the one they give to those who played since the beginning, that looks like the Hellhound wth a shiny blue.

Anniversary Black Hellhound can't be traded. Might be transferrable through account stash (not certain), but not tradeable. So while it can be an elitist thing for the "oldbies" who were around in September last year, it's not a rare mount in the normal sense.

Someone's been selling a lobster in Lost City for weeks. I've seen five or six people with them, so...they're not that rare.

I just want that adorable pink fish to ride, that's all.

Lobster is NOT rare. So many of them came out of annipacks, they still only sell for 3m. That's like buying a full 11m/s mount for less than 10 gold.
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

Who uses land mounts anymore? Just get a fast flying mount.

Seriously, a faster flying mount is a much better investment. So this doesn't really bother me in the slightest.

Well, a ground mount is more quick than the fast flying mount of the game. b:bye

    Actually, I counter this argument.

I have land mounts because they are pretty. No other real reason.

But when you consider mobs, hills, water, slopes, buildings and other obstacles, land mounds are just as fast, if not potentially slower, than aerogear. The amount of time it takes you to run around mobs and buildings and find quick ways up slopes is where the aerogear gains ground. When you catch up to the aerogear... you run into another hill anyway.

Aerogear = just as fast provided you have an upgraded/fast aerogear because it doesn't have to run you around an obstacle course. Very direct.

Land mount = the fastest currently travel 2.7 m/s faster than the fastest aerogear, but you spend so much time running around the mobs you don't end up going any faster.

Swift Whitewind is still a DQ only/rare mount if I'm not mistaken. It costs 30 Silver and 50 Copper DQ orders. If you obtain mounts based on rarity, it's way rarer on a server than a Silver Mane right now.

I'm gonna make this short: Don't understand the whole "rare" appeal, based on rarity only (I won't even start on the gear drops in this game). Mostly because "rare" doesn't mean "better" in my mind...

And yes, if you know me in-game or IRL, you very well know that I like big, flashy, shiny stuff. There's a difference between bling and rarity though, albeit in this game they pretty much end up being the same x.x. I won't buy something because it's rare, I buy it because it looks neat on my characters. Hence why I don't understand the whole "it's not rare anymore QQ" thing that I see a lot, less in this game, but so much more in another.

everyone of those mounts on sale in boutique right now has been in boutique for sale at 1 point or the other. kinda late to be complaining about mounts that already been on sale at least once, i am pretty sure they actually been put in boutique 2-3 times each.

    Without once retreating,
    Nor once being understood.

Therefore, there is no meaning to that life.

Well, something new and rare will come soon with new server Archo "cough duke blacke cough..." (i really want one if possible lol)

the only thing that could stay rare is 3.0/6.0 iridescence and so imo lol
as long as there are ppl who spend real money to buy these currently-rare stuffs, pwi will release it in caashshop eventually. so sell everything valuable right now lol

Well...I am not TOO angry about the rare mounts being released. I mean, the only rare mount that I want, and is still rare, is the Purgatory Lion (I believe that is the blue glowing lion?). Still, I probably will not be able to afford one of those for a LONG time, and by the time I can it will probably be in the boutique.

What REALLY upsets me about this is the prices of them. Seriously, when the Hell Hound first came out it was $60! Now it is a measly what...$35? $40? I don't even remember. Talk about ripping off everyone who bought one. But, then again, it was everyone's fault for spending the $60 on the mount, getting ripped off with the PWI-Anniversary Mount, and now this. So it is pretty much a lose-lose situation if you look at it either way.

Not very long ago, the rarest and most expensive material known to humans was Aluminum. Nowdays we throw away cans which at one time in history would had been worth thousands of dollars each.

Not many things stay rare and expensive in life. And for those things that do, there is always mastercard.

I disagree... I have Watcher of the Skies upgraded to the fastest speed of 5.0 m/sec and a battle cat 11 m/sec. It takes me over 120 minutes to do World Quest if it's solely in air and only about 90 minutes to do it on the battle cat. Big difference. Having 6.2 m/sec wings likely would not change that outcome based on simple ratios.

It takes me 10 minutes to do it using teleporters. No need for mounts nor aerogears to do worldquest fast.

You can afk while doing WQ on PVE servers. b:chuckle But nonetheless, I don't do it often because it bores me.

But anyways, on topic. I was pretty upset that my rare mount turned into not-so-rare. But then again, who cares? It would probably still be the same price as it was before.

There having been no maintenance this week has no bearing on anything that may or may not happen next week.

Uh... is it really THAT hard for you to log in?

    Yes, they're there.

they don't need a maintenance to change the cash shop. they did an event where they changed every HOUR a while ago.
