    I support this. However, think about BM stun. I think it should be like this: 1) When you have selected a target, you must be in range to do it. So it works like it works now. 2) When you don't have a target, you can launch the attack where you are standing.

    BTW, would it be unfair if you can do an AoE like Barrage when running? Imagine seeing an archer running around with Barrage on and using Holy Path.

    yea, the skills would still function as they do now, in other words, constant aoe's like wizard dragon breath and archer barrage would still prevent you from moving while in effect... but if this idea were implemented, you just wouldnt -need- to target something to use your aoe's

    Simple, make aoe skills that deal damage around you require no target, and range aoe skills use a point-and-click reticule on the ground showing where the damage would be. This actually would require classes with range aoes to have good timing to hit those fast moving targets. b:chuckle

    If a class with a range aoe wants to pop a sin out of stealth around them, they can just click the ground at their feet.

    i was thinking about making this my suggestion, but then i thought if i was too specific it'd be ignored lol... wouldnt coding this be a hassle regardless? real-time target reticule ftw!

    I wouldn't think coding it would be too hard( not coding expert though) but it should just revolve around the same coding that moves us to the location we click.

    good point, but for such a mechanic to be effective (and not make us all QQ about our targeted aoe's being useless beyond the first hit), it'd have to track the aoe target location in real-time with our mouse movements

    would be a ****in epic alteration to make, but i dont see it getting implemented b:surrender

    ah ah that idea is funny *feel the anti-sin stealth power*; but i think that wouldn t be bad for certain AoE such as Aqua cannon that are center on the caster, but realy don t think all the AoE should be like that.

    That's also a question. Should you be able to hold the skill while targeting? Or do you have to click the target area before it finishes channeling or it'll just target wherever your mouse pointer is at that time.
