What is the point of PVP in PWI ?

PvP can be quite enjoyable at times. It's the challenge of battling against your equals or betters and taking them down in combat. I've engaged in more than a few PvP battles and enjoyed them, even the ones I died horribly during.

The part that baffles me is when players of extreme level run around PKing newcomers or other very low level characters. They rarely get out of it and don't prove to anyone besides the obvious fact that high level characters are stronger than low level ones (duh). And yet they persist.

I'm convinced the latter type of PvP'er does so because they lack the skills to combat people of their own level, or because they feel an inadequacy that only violence can alleviate. The fair number of red named players on my current server suggests they're more common than you'd expect.

All you do is kill the same bosses or mob over and over with the same attacks and moves and you know what to do to kill it. Its pretty simple. (If your squad is not a faled one.)

Pfft... as a barb, I don't even need that armageddon to win, Devour, flesh ream human form, garrote, mighty swing, beastial onslaught. For kiters, surf impact / alacrity of the beast, then follow on with same skills. Simple to do, I do the exact same thing in PVE -_-" possibly less, depending on which char.

PvP is based on skill and how well you are fighting another person. Its just like fighting sone one in a online PS3 game. Its all based on skill. Not just fight the same boring CPU over and over with no fun.. at all.

And lastly if you are a PvE server why do you have TW's that counts as PvP since its player vs player. So stop QQing abut PvP before PWI Dev's decide to change PvP ruing it for ever.

Grinding doesn't get me anywhere but boredom. Killing the same old AI mob doing the same attacks is infinite times more boring than trying to kill a person who has a brain and knows how to fight unlike a CPU.

neither does random killing, you could be killing lower levels and you probably are and only good at doing that.

Killing a person with your eyes close, that's impossible, But in PvE fighting a mob all you do is press you macro button and close your eyes and a few sec's later the mob is dead.

The pvp is for those who enjoy player killing, those who enjoy competing with other players in skill and in gear too. There is alot more to pvp then u think, its jus happens that ppl like you dont like to pvp and that makes you a pve player; In other words, you are in the wrong server.

That fact that I never killing any lowbies and I won't Pk until 9x so I can have a challenge fighting real Pkers at lvl 90.

So, get of my back and leave me alone because I'm right and your wrong.

All Pkers are not jerks, and brag about winning. Most of them are just people that what a challenge and want to how well they are in Pking. Also Pking can also count as training for a TW since that counts as Pking.

So, quit being a noob and stop taking stuff about the PvP server. Its a way of life so you just have to deal with it and if you can't just quit playing and play a ALL PvE game so you can stop your QQing.

But getting back on to the subject, I'm not QQing abut anything I'm just specking the truth. I wasn't the one that was making these QQ threads about PvP, and most off the people that QQ about PvP servers are people that are on PvE servers.

Theres no point of those people QQing about PvP servers when thy never need to deal with being pked since they never need to go into pk mode.

im pretty should this thread is called PvP pnderings and you dont PVP so GTFO

The only reason I pvp is to test my skills against something thats going to more than try and autoattack me to death although sometimes barbs seriously just try to autoattack me. Its fun for me unlike PvE which I do purely to improve my character and his gear, I mean ill do hours of PvE if I have a goal (5-6 nirvana runs in a day, HH for 12 hrs a day to farm new gear stuff like that) but otherwise im happy to pk and work on my skills and timing.

I time my skills and sparks to do the most damage possible while letting my opponent think he is safe so he doesnt drop wings (then I stun him just before he would drop and lock him till he dies). I change weapons frequently if 1 trick doesnt work ill do something else or make up a new trick depending on exactly how you play.

For me PvE is pretty much click 1 button ingame and go afk, I made a self sustaining attack chain for GV delta which atm is the hardest instance, if anyone says nirvana is hard im going to lol at you seriously its a snoozefest as PvE goes about on par with aoe grinding in 3rd map. If you dont know how to create a sustaining ingame macro you probably should learn more about PvE I hear there is a whole forum section dedicated to pve tactics. I only pay attention on the bosses in GV Delta and 3rd and 9th waves and thats more because my team might get stunned and I would have to alpha male than any real concern we might lose.
