lol yeah I know, I voted with a total of three of my toons. People are welcome to vote with theirs as well. The first 'extra' was actually a mistake. I had switched toons and when I came back to the thread, just clicked the vote option w/o thinking about it.

Then went hmmmmm...

then after the third went... hmmmmm...

felt kinda... silly... to pad the votes that way.

Anyone can say, "I am a Christian", but that does not necessarily make it so.

And the answer to who has freedom and who doesn't? We all do! But it goes right back to that old saying I quoted above.

And with that, I have to agree with you 100%.

What is ironic is that I would gladly lay down my life, for your, my and everyone Else's right to worship whatever deity(s) they want to.

I just don't want to be told about said deity(s).

Odd I know.

Yep, that wasnt really fair of them to treat you that way for making a person decision based on your personal belief's. You have every right to practice, promote, display whatever you so choose. Everyone else does too though. Game or not, its why america is known as a "melting pot". What was done to you was moraly wrong, unjust among any religion without a doubt. In light if that, i would have thought someone who's experienced what you've posted would be more understanding. Funny. Why is it always up to the minority to "get over it"?
Honestly, I disagree with Saitada on his essential point, but, after his story, when is christian america going to take responsibility and apologize for what they did to him? Oh, right, it was just a "select group" who did that.....oh, but aren't all christians brothers? Or is that only when christians are doing good things? Seriously....being an apologist for oppression is no better than being an oppressor.....

And FWIW, I still think religious beliefs is ok in sigs....no matter how much it pisses people off.

for some own personal reasons you want to forbid showing off some kind of beliefs in signatures (which are related to religion in ur case)

all other people including atheists., stoics, nihilists (insert any outlook here) (...) foodball fans, housewives clubs members (insert anyone who may have any view for anything) are allowed to freely write what they want

that just really good example for lack of tolerancy

but oke, it s ur own opinion to which you have right

what is bit terrying here is fact that 35% of people who voted in poll would also restrict other's right for free speech/beliefs (sic!)

It's just a guild like any others filled with me m8tes, that for 3 years now exist in 8 MMOs.

Wonder who made a fool of themself (and prob got banned) and reported me for religious promotion? b:puzzled

Let's see here.

Religion is not allowed on the forums, as it only causes trouble. If you have a religious guild, it's fine to advertise it, unless you stress the religion too much - just put "member of <guild>" or something. For example, Born_Again's signature is fine, it's not like she's starting an argument on what religion is better - she's just showing she's a member, and linking to the site.
Discussing religion ingame is okay, though preferably not through public chat - that's just asking for trouble.
Closing this as this IS not allowed according to forum rules.

My guild was here even in closed beta of PWI.
Most (or all) the MMOs we play forbid religious promotion, and my guild (or guildname) is not a violation of TOS in any of those, neither is it here.
