    Romantic one makes only a tad of sense. I get the fence representation but it could have been much better done.

    Scenery one is the most generic scenery you can find in the game. Looks like two people landed in a random spot and turned their settings up

    Humorous one is uhh . . . well I suppose a 90 year old woman might give it half a chuckle. Or a 12 year old. . . or someone with no sense of humor.

    Yes, Gratz to the winners. And to the other good artists who took the time to put something together. Two of the winners are a bit sophomoric for my tastes though, and I personally preferred Saitada's entry for the Humorous category and Kephras's for the scenery. Will be interesting to see who wins HM. Good job guys, I like to see other player's creativity in here, so here's hoping that the other Mods & Admins, etc. continue the fun that Spoons brought to these games!

    I, for one, think the most romantic one is very well staged ._.

    It kinda reminds me of beauty and the beast. Yeah, might be an overused theme but the setup of the screenshot was great.

    Pretty much agree with what FatherTed said.

    The first one isn't romantic at all and the barb is barely visible. Thought this was going to be a couples contest, but I guess I could've just made a screen of myself and a female hand in some corner.b:laugh

    The second one is just... water. So much beautiful places in PW and yet the winner is a picture of lots of water.b:embarrass

    I chuckled at the third one, though. But I don't see how that could be the funniest of all the entries. Also, the text defeats the purpose of a picture entry in my opinion.b:scorn

    Not saying mine were the best, but I'm sure there were way better entries than the winning ones. (which is pretty much proven by other posters in this thread).b:quiet

    I liked the scenery and humorous ones but the romantic wasn't really that romantic in my opinion, congrats to the winners though b:victory

    well we are entitled to have an opinion about the winner screenshots and say which we ones we liked and which we didn't, with no disrespect to the people that won though that's why we are congratulating them.

    I appreciate the sentiment - and Ainne's is wonderful - but for better or worse the GMs made their decisions. From previous contests, I remember how disheartening it can be to hear over and over "X should've won, that one sucked," or similar, and I feel a trifle guilty for having added to it at all.

    I may not agree personally with the choice in winners, but I'll accept that they were chosen on their own merits - whatever that might have been for the judges.

    I do respect GMs and authority in general. It isn't easy to take over for another GM esp in the middle of a contest. I am sure the GM did the best they could with a rushed decision.

    Hopefully the honorable mentions on Tuesday will be a little more impressive. Ib:chuckle No offense to the winners or the GM b:victory b:thanks
