My game is running too fast

My game is running in fast forward, and I keep jumping back too where I was a few seconds ago. I have tried restarting, reloging, Ctrl-F9, and I can't turn off one of my processers because the option doesn't come up in Task Manager. I am running Windows Vista 32-bit on a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop.

Just Close the client and surf around on the web for like 10 minutes while you wait .... after that click back on the client and it usually runs normally b:victorySomewhere on this globe, every ten seconds, there is a woman giving birth to a child. She must be found and stopped.b:laugh

I don't think that will work0

Try restarting your PC and networking gear. Unplug them from electricity for 2-3 minutes. Plug them back in and turn them on.
See if that helps.
There could also be local internet hiccups in your area, try again later.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

I don't think it's my internet connection causing the problem, but I shall try that anyway.0

Is there a 3rd Party program that slows down the FPS of PW?0

Does anyone even know why my game is running at over 2x speed? Maybe then we can work out a way to make it normal.0

Ah yes, a Vostro laptop. I got one of those. When the game is launched in full screen (about 95% of the time), it moves at a very fast speed to the point where I can't even connect.
Workaround: Run in windowed mode.
If you REALLY want to play in full screen you'll have to switch to full after opening the game.[sigpic][/sigpic]LOVE
Information: It is proven that the majority of the Perfect World International player base suffers from "Motorcylophobia".

Or turn off cheat engineb:shutupIt is better to remain silent and be thought the fool then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.0

I don't use cheat engine b:beatup0

Fixed! - I did wat "pepsi345" couldn't. I changed the Affinity to only one CPU through Windows Task Manager Processes and it fixes it perfectly, change it back to two and it's screwed again. Hopefully this will work for other people also.0 -
Ok ty stickboy
I put only one CPU too and now it works
How can you explain that ?0
