I have lost hope and intrest in wiz, and possibly just the game..
everythng i do just seems to be like work.. Honestly i cant see the fun side of this game anymore..

and playing the wiz is not helping i dont think.. Wizard is alot of work as most of u know.. and well i guess im just hoping for anything any1 can say to remind me whats fun about this.. why i picked a wizard...

    yes all this CS and BHs, which means + money waste per day duo to wines, is like a obligation instead of funny, there should be somethink new everyday or nearby to it instead of always same stuff....

    well the fun about the game is when u see ur dedly Water Dragon flying up, GIVE LIFE TO YOUR DRAKY

    I always had fun with my wizard, from the very first level to now. I also never thought wizard were "hard" to play, but maybe the play style it just doesn't fit you ?

    Also BHs are optional. There was no BHs 6 months ago and people were still leveling and having fun. Sure it's slower, but you decide if you want the quick / costly way or the slower way.

    when u compare it to a fist bm ofc wiz is hard to play, just think like this, whats easyer double click on a mob or do some smart combos to win him wihtout get any dmg.....? u can switch the bm for a veno's pet its the same

    and yeh bhs are very funny but every day every weeks make them boring so i advice if u are rly finding so boring do some bh/CS just dont do it and make some funny think instead next day u will want to do the bhs/CSs for sure =P

    Well, reroll a veno or something. Wizard sucks until 60, where to raises to a lesser degree of suck. Then 79 where it reaches the barrier of kinda sucking and being somewhat good. Then 89+ where it starts to reach the DDing status that it should have, then 99+ where you can go crazy.

    If you're not willing to put the effort to get there, reroll.

    Yes it is work but it will pay off big time in the end, and all the work justs makes that better, becuase face it if you quit and go out into the real world a clown will kill and eat your corpse.

    I think he was referring to Fist BMs being the double click and the Wizard being the smart ones with combos that don't take hits, milady. =)

    ...That or he knows the REAL reason some BMs pack a bow. Kiting ftw. b:avoid

    damn you are annoying. You're a lowbie, know nothing about your class, are on a pve server, and can't write a post without butchering the english language.. and you think its ok to talk trash to some of the best wizards in the game.

    Side note.. wizards don't take some special skill to play, this is an mmo.. no classes are difficult to play. Its all about building your character and then not being a ****** in pvp.     No, he doesn't play on DW. I think he just posts on that wizard because he hasn't gained a level on that char in months now.

    And wtf is wrong with the damn page of fate skillbooks. Seriously? 9 tries: 4 Blade tempests, 3 Force of wills, 1 Glacial Snare, 1 Mountain Seize. If the chances were really 20% for each skillbook then the chance of me getting BIDS is like what? 1-(4/5)^9 which is like 86.5%

    keep trying, u can sell taht books too and get enought money to buy a bids if u can find 1 in market which is rare, anyway BT and FOW are very wanted by all wizs

    i only do bh n wq which atm gives me 18-21m exp per month o.o 200k wq n 500k bh (IF i can do third boss sometimes lands on 79).
    i dont do cs since 72k per day = 2.1m~ per month i rather have that to pay my skills.
    is sure expensive as hell u need pve n pvp skills maxed out n such but if was cheap class wheres the fun lol

    First off i never ment that wizard was a hard class but u hav to admit u do need pay more attention to what skills u use and equips u use do to survivability instead of how ( alrdy stated) a fist bm can normal hit mobs endlessly at no cost while tanking the damage and then use their sutra heal that take like no mana and 1 spark.. easy grinding..

    To be honest i think alot of this bein anoyyed with game tho is just due to the fact of my playin times recently, due to college my ability to spend time on game has just dissappeared therefor bein stuck at same lvl for weeks is just depresssing..

    If a wizard grinds properly, it should never get touched.

    Oh and to the OP, if an MMO seems like work, it usually is. Everything is all about "endgame" in an MMO right? But frankly, PW's endgame is pretty crappy. The gameplay isn't really amazing either. So if you're already bored at 7x, this probably isn't the game for you. (PW is boring).

    all classes in this game require no skill or brains when it come to grinding

    PW is not a player skill based game (stuff like counter strike, DOTA, starcraft are)

    its about who has better items and stat/skill build like most RPGs (this kinda requires skill but in this game there pretty only one good build for each class and everyone is pretty much after the same items- so not much brains/ skilsl required)

    skill only becomes a factor in this game when it comes to acquiing these items without using cash shop . but this is merchanting skill ( buying ans selling).

    skill is a small factor in this game

    it is very easy to play

    srsly if you think clicking/pressing 3 more buttons than another character makes it require more brains you are just fooling yourself

    casting

    big nuke > small nuker(slow) > small nuke > knockback > finish with small nukes

    does not require much brains/ skill

    i never said grinding was hard.. but exactly as som1 stated.. kiting.. FoW and pheonix.. all things u hav to think of usin.. aswell as the element of mob and ur skill.. more thought then a bm just wacking away..

    i just think i need to start lvlin more and unlock the power of wizard.. at least get 79 skills..
    maybe the str of bein able to undine and sleep som1 might pick me up

    Sleep is not as useful as it sounds. Undine is more effective in pvp and against bosses.

    It's not really complicated if you think about it. Gush + pyro + repeat until mob close + phoenix + repeat steps 1 and 2 until mob close again + FoW + repeat steps 1 and 2 = Dead mob.

    Actually I did use my brain while reading your post and it is why I took it the other way. You compared a fist bm grinding and then said you could switch it out with a veno. A veno grinding is considerably the best and easiest to grind without taking any damage at all. Then you compare it to a fist BM which is probably the hardest to grind. I really don't understand how you make these comparisons.

    I really don't know how a fist bm and a veno are related, but sorry if I used brains while reading your post. My brain did hurt reading the rest of your posts though, because I really don't understand them.

    Uhm... I tried wiz, it was hard... but dude, you must be playing your wiz wrong. Even I tried wizard and I suck as a magic class. I have it harder on archer and even cleric to play than wizard. I have it hard on every class except veno and barb, but I do worst on archer. Arrows... not being able to kite with 3 second slow... and I die over 10 times every try on average as archer, wiz, not so much. There is such thing as Gush for wizards. Then you should not play a magic class other than veno if you don't kite and / or knockback, if you don't know what kiting means. It mean use your slow attacks, then run and use slow again. There are different ways to kite too, use your feet, not hope to one shot things

    here is my hardest play to easiest play
    Archer < cleric < wizard < blademaster < barbarian < venomancer (its boring on easy mode with venoes lol)

    I haven't touched tideborn and I don't think I'll bother assassin because light armored melee -_-" as for venoes being easiest to play. Its epically true
