WTF??

Every player in rising tide server just got a message (green) that said:

You will all die in 7 days...

I got a screen shot il post in a sec..

    Fail. Someone used a world chat and used color text to change it to green. Simply that.

    yeah.. one of the reasons i thought this was real was that i had just failed a quest for the TB Elder (lv 51) and left an instance. As soon as i left that showed up. I thought it was all my fault, and that we were all going to die because i failed 3 times.

    It's not impossible to figure out how many spaces are needed to reach a second line of text to make it appear that a whole new message is being sent. That would be the first thing I'd think of if I saw some random message like this appear for no reason.

    I doubt anyone will be dying in 7 days as a result of this message :P

    As a tip it's usually hit space bar till you reach the end of the text entry box then hit space 1 or two more times, then type 'PersonsName: ' and voila you can make them say stuff. Now go fellow players! and annoy the hell out of your friends!

    As for bannability, as long as you don't use Red you won't be banned, however GM's have World Chatted before for people to ease off using colours already used for chat messages. This isn't bannable but you might get muted for an hour or so if you do it too much.

    I know a guildie that makes a similar joke like that by typing in faction chat in red letters the words the nix in FC says when it aoes.Everybody goes like WTF.
