make me u slow un-educated dumb low life meaningless soul make me i dare you to make me get off this topic.

Now now. I didn't name call and flame you, did I? No, I just pointed out that somehow over 50% of your forum posts end up talking about how you didn't get $20 on the game (oh QQ, $20, so much money lost there) - which is also commonly off the actual topic a great deal of the time too.

Also, thank you, I'm perfectly well educated and I'm quite sure my life is far from a low one. I'm not the person excusing capitals, grammar, spelling and the majority of punctuation from my posts, either. Guess which of us looks more educated at the moment?

First off... you dont have room to speak of ones education. If you are going to flame someone at least take the time to write the full word out. Now please when you post stay on topic.

    Anyway...

Okay at first when I saw this I was like what the hell is this.. then after I thought about it I had to admit that it may be a pain in the **** .. but it is rather useful. There has been times when I have been dragging a fashion from my inventory to my wardrobe, computer lagged or maybe my finger twitched and I dropped the fashion to the ground. Luckily I didn't lose it and was able to pick it back up. But mistakes happen.

How many times have you been up late at night, you are getting ready to shut down but you need to hit the banker. You are just trying to hurry so you really aren't paying attention and drop something.

So all in all its really not that bad. Its just something we have to get use to.

As small as it is I find it a positive thing.Nothing that improves game play or something but as said by many most games have it and it works wonders.

Oh come on! Even I like a good rant and QQ but about a confirmation box when you drop items? A single mouse-click that could save a mass of players from losing valuable items to lag?

    Grow up ffs.

Butbutbut, my TT run was completely RUINED by the fact that I had to click an extra time, EVERYTIME I had to drop a mat for the banker to pick up. *cries hysterically*

I recently lost my more powerful pc and am running on one that is laggy and slow. that said just moving an item from the inventory to the bank is hard when its a busy bank. I had not lost anything *yet* but I for one welcome this change with open arms.
it is only ONE more mouseclick which could potentially save you millions it will not kill you

I for one dont like the "Confirm" option for droping something from inventory, but that may be because in the past year I have aquired TWO differnt legendary items at the banker because someone has not paid attention to what they are doing.

I called it "Stupid Tax". I guarantee those people who lost their stuff to me never did that again.

I love this. <3 I play on a slightly glitchy mousepad, so I've dropped things on occasion, picked things up and dragged them around without realizing, etc. I've also picked up some obviously dropped items.

As for the people that want it gone... the time it takes to click the confirmation box isn't going to lose you a drop... nor is it going to hinder you in any way. What does it take, a second and a half to click the box? Less? How long until the drop timer runs out?

And... PWE cheating people... why does PWE need to cheat anyone? What do they gain from not giving you your $20 worth of FAKE money? PWE gains enough without having to cheat people. In fact, that's counterproductive. I'd bet it IS an issue that they ARE working on. It's not like they want people to stop buying things.

i never accidently dropped anything on the ground, so i dunno why we need this. I run on the most minimum of requirements and lag like nobody's business.. yet never dropped anything.

Even if you drop an item, you can always pick it back up.

Even in squad, if you drop an item and immediately pick it back up, random or free, you're the one to get it back.

I only see the confirmation necessary if you were dropping coins. Because then in squad, if you pick the coins back up, it's split.

Even so, you have the option to set how many coins you want to drop, which should be confirmation enough.

Unless you're incapable of picking the item back up, I don't see an issue with "accidental drops."

To be honest, I don't see many new pro's with this feature. The only con I can really agree with is when you're the banker on a TT run and you want to list the mats by dropping all of them and picking them back up so the squad can see what you have to choose from. With this feature, you now have to confirm each and every drop. Sure, I can live with it, but it's just a new inconvenience. It won't stop me from running TT's, I just won't volunteer being the banker anymore =]

This was a good thing, and most reason i see why people want it removed is because . . . they can't throw their item quickly when they need space.
Is that more important than someone accidentally drop item that cost game life to receive out of his / her inventory and not realize it ?

*Never happen to me though . . . glad i am not dc when i drag items.
Everyone not the same, some people maybe not used to pc pointer or some other has problem with their hand health x.x like keep shaking some times.

These was a lot more less annoying than the new big system window . . . always block my click because it so big. =(

I'm still trying to understand how this is even possible. If the dragged item was actually over the bank window, it will not drop to the ground. Period. So I'm guessing they didn't drag the cursor far enough to be over the window. Seems to me like they rushed to get something put away. In which case, don't be in such a hurry to bank stuff. Take your time and make certain they actually go in it.

Common sense... start using it, people.
Two ways. First, if you've got a high-end graphics card which runs at 50 fps in Archosaur, you're not going to have many problems. But if you're on a low-end card which chugs down to 5 fps at crowded bankers, it can be pretty tricky making sure you drag something to the right spot. You drag an item to the right spot and let go of the mouse button and... the mouse cursor keeps moving before registering your button release, and now you've dropped the item in the wrong spot or even onto the ground.

Second, certain areas of the bank/inventory boxes seem to be buggy and "transparent". They look like they're part of the box but they're not, and dropping things on them results in the item "falling through" onto the ground. The spots must be very small because I haven't been able to replicate this consistently. But I've definitely had it happen several times. The buy box when you set up a cat shop (right side) is particularly bad about this. Fortunately, when stuff "falls through" there, it only ends up going into the sell box instead of the buy box.

Then you have never been disconnected when you were dragging something?

    b:question

no i dont d/c much... like never. And the chances i'll d/c while dragging something have to be like .00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001

plus i never drag anything far accross my screen.. i usually put the two windows together so there is no gap.

Even if you drop it, sometimes it's in areas like West Arch. Someone I know dropped millions worth of mirages on accident dragging them to their bank. They didn't pick them up in time because they had extended bank/inventory, couldn't see them on the ground, and was looking through the bank and inventory because they didn't know where they went.
