    It really annoys me when another wizard in party only casts like, a divine pyro every 5 seconds 'cause he's afraid he's gonna pull aggro, even though he's like, 5 levels lower than me and with a subpar weapon and with a tank that's flesh reaming every 10 seconds.

    isnt about funds is about smartess, or u are dumb and fail in everything or u are smart enought to survive to this cruel world,,,pdef ornaments are cheap, u dont need go get a uber pdef oranament wiht +hp% u can just get some crappy +pdef instead of a mdef just cuz is higher lv ><

    I think he wanted to say that the only "excuse" for a wizard wearing an elemental necklace is, that the necklace has -channeling as add. Otherwise wizards should always go for protection necklaces. But protection necks cannot have -channeling. So wasting the necklace slot for an elemental necklace without channeling is just fail, because you could easily find a comparable protection neck.

    Before the BH times when PPL were actually doing quests and grinding I found it very beneficial to have a necklace and a belt with -channel on them. Especially between 60s and 80s those were very good additions, having -15% channel it really makes a diff. Of course, I had a set of pdef necklace and belt since that was a must for TW.

    It's not that hard to find some elemental resist ornaments with channeling at decent prices, and once you find one you can use it for 15-20 levels, so it's worth the investment.

    thats for every class, like i hear "Cleric heal me" or "veno lure", it does get annoying after a while... but u could just say "im not going to do anything unless u adress me by my name" ><

    back in my day, if you was arcane you got booted out of squad. You needed to be LA to zhen, RB and etc. I dont think pure wizards started being accepted until i was lvl 83

    another thing that stick out to me is when wiz use WotP on magic mobs....
    i know u can push back teh mob so it will interrupt the cast, but just seeing a wiz run out to a mob just doesn't seem right to me......QQ

    When wizards think that Blade Tempest is a better spell to cast on BM's rather then casting BIDS.

    Also when I do my Undine > spark combo get 0 crits, then on the gush or pyro after everything wears off I get crit.

    Lastly, when the mob has 1k hp left, you cast gush and it crits for 10k

    Tauran Cape = Until u can get ur hands on a 50m Event cape or Elite Leather. This cape is not a bad decision. Has an additional Mag Def. Easily available and so easy to sell once you have finished with it.

    Pitfall = A good skill on Water bosses or kiting barbs if they managed to perd or crit u and u need some distance to hit a pot and dont have energy in genie. The slow affetc is neat and the DoT isnt too bad for its quick channel.

    Requiem Blade = If you havnt yet farmed an HH90 weapon its a cheap method of been consitant. Not everyone are cash shoppers who can just charge x amount of gold and buy their gear.

    Demon/Sage = IMO this is personal preference. I know some good demon mages but most wish @ 99+ they chose Sage or rolled an Archer which is basically what a demon mage is trying to be. Play ur role. Mages = Burst DDers. (Ultis and 3 Spark)

    Necklace = HH90 Gold (protection) or Sky Demons Pearl if ur feeling broke.
    -channel is good for PvE if u dont plan on being hit.

    And pre 90 players talking about end game PvP. Everything changes 90+

    Requiem blade I was using till 95 when I switched to purgatory. I will not gathering mats which I don't need it. And just for selling is not worth my time. b:pleased So requiem was the best and cheap alternative.

    Tauren chieftain is **** at any level for a arcane user. You can easily find a cheap cape in auction house for 100k that gives 150 hp or more. A waste of money to get TC cape.

    Requiem blade is a bit of a toss up to get but I don't get why people would even consider buying it at all. I would just rather use my hh80 wep until I could get my hh90 glaive (which I did). Its kind of like some archers used to switch from hh80 to windcatcher than to hh90.

    why use requiem? Cause at +4 is better than a +6 TT80, that's why.
    Plus, you can get 1 mor crit, and 100-110 HP aren't bad either.

    At 69, TC is a dam good cape. Shard and Refine and ull easily be able to sell it without losing money to an HA once u need to.

    Atm thats hard to judge. With very few +12 attack Mages and heap loads of +12 attack Archers its hard to compare. Archers to good burst damage as they crit so much but i personally think a +12 Mage with a good crit could easily double the damage a +12 Archer can do. Many +10 mages have already crit over 50K which is more than enough to one shot anyone without a GM robe.

    Archers are more of robe killers. Fast dps prob adds up to more damage than a mage but a mage is designed to tick passed charms on barbs imo.

    ummm....LC been out longer than DW....when i was doing gamma the highest level on server was 85....

    if BMs have magic marrow, BT does better damage. A friend of mine actually hit a barb for 26k with BT which does better damage than his BIDS...

    L11 Sage BIDS > BT
    and if that doesnt kill them. Chances are your next 3-4 hits are gonna crit.

    idiots that think Nirvana crystals can be farmed with a pick-axe, and they are talking about nirvana weapons/gear with such ease that one would think TT mats are harder to get than Nirvana crystals, if you pay attention to them.
