what grinds your gear?

tell me something or rant about what other wizard that make you want to smack him in the face......b:laugh

ok i go first: it grinds my gear to see 90+ wiz with the lvl89 mold sword (req blade) IT SUCKS PERIOD!!! i just dont get what they are thinking b:surrender
another one is TT90 arcane boots IT SUCKS PERIOD, besides, you dont get tt90 set bonus. there are TON of oht boots with much better add on. i have an OHT boots with 94 pdef x2, 3 soc, can get 94x3 one but this come with 3 soc so meh.

disclaimer: this is not a thread that show you are better than the other wiz, just something that really bothers you when you bump into it b:pleased

    using earth spells on earth bosses is even worse,,,

    assuming pyro+gush is the highest dps wihtout sutra/bla bla bla combos, use fire agains fire bosses and water agains water bosses may happen sometimes as much as we try to dodge it, EX: u may not have the SS/GS maxed but have pyro maxed, what happens is u lack at spells SR+gush isnt enought so u must recover to another fast dps spells which is pyro

    however i saw ppl spamming SR/SS on earth bosses as fast as they can, to be honest i dont belive the SS debuff is enought to make boss miss or SR dps higher then pyro+gush

    I'm guilty of using the same elements on some bosses. But thats because I have a macro of gush, pyrogram, and stone rain. They all are timed nicely for a macro and im too lazy to click buttons, so shoot me not gonna click a button 500 times to get the max dps on a fb boss.

    oh also, i seen a EVASION wiz, with tt90 evasion neck and belt, FAIL!!!

    Using wrong element skills on mobs/bosses is kinda sad though.

    Also when higher leveled wizard steals aggro on boss and dies, even though we warned him to be careful >.<

    When a Wiz oracles to 95+ Drops +10 on Lunar and +6-8's their gear and laughs at how low your HP is and why your damage is low.

    And how Pre-89 every wiz makes fun of you because you say you're going sage and then when they get to 89 they go sage -_-

    Im not even a faking wiz but it REALLY pisses me to see wizards using those useless pitfall and crown of flame and hailstorm DoT spells for grinding.. then they wonder y they keep getting their asses handed to them... they shuld just roll a veno cuz DoT spells work way better for that class, my lvl 63 veno can kill mobs with purley DoT spells.. so ya.

    Hailstorm is not a DOT and its far from useless, its actually really handy for when i accidentally aggro too many mobs. Pitfall and Crown of flames have a fairly minor purpose, but that purpose is best served by keeping them at lvl 1, to cheaply rid a mob of a remaining 2k hp or so (very useful when your cheapest lvl 10 skill is 141 mana, lvl 1 crown of flames is 39 mana). Also I thought pole BM's had the best DOTs (besides Phy now?), I've never even heard of a Veno using them.

    EDIT: On topic, Raybeez grinds my gears.

    When I'm laughed at by a level 92 Wiz for not being able to solo a boss close to my level. How the heck am I supposed to solo Jewelscalen? Hmm? O.o

    I hate trolls in the game, their worse then the forum trolls sometimes. -.-

    Pitfall has its uses. I know an 86 wiz who maxed it and wins duels with it (fast channel+freeze/slow, so honestly, it has an undeserved reputation as useless.
    Even at lvl 1, it's good for little dmg when a weak veno pet is tanking so you don't draw aggro.

    Mages using might rings (for BT...? ofc they're wrong...)...

    I still spam Sage Pyrogram on cooldown, even against fire bosses. Because of the chi gain. b:laugh

    Let me see... Wizards that use LA after lvl 90.

    Or low 8x barbs talking about how useless wizard is in pvp and laughing at you, when you say you are sage. b:bye

    About pitfall: I got sage pitfall, and I use it against BMs instead of gush fairly often. The slow lasts longer, and if I am lucky I get a freeze.

    i dont rly like pitfall, i just use it for kill some1 fast when gush is on CT or crown of flame, however is a mp save and a quick cast

    and wiht BT lots of wiz think BT comes from ur phy atk, what can i say ><

    i hate when dd cant accept the boss killing goal not the " who makeing highest crit and die" if he know well the tank a bit weak.

    i hate when somebody dont listen because he thing he know everything during a tt/bh run and we die cause him.
