Farming Routes Reserved?

seems your new found farming buddy just cant handle the troof.

looks like a QQ sandwich with greed as the bread.

This is something that has been discussed a lot recently. Everyone has their own opinion on the sort of game conduct that they expect, and not everyone can be right.

While we encourage you to be considerate of others, in situations like this where you had no intent to harm the other user it's simply a dispute over something that neither of you own. Mats are first come first serve.

Most of my mats I aquire when I'm out grinding near a few nodes. Sometimes I see farmers on their mounts farming mats like clockwork. As soon as 10 minutes go by, the mat respawns and they're already on top of it digging before I notice the mat is back.

So I tried to time it and stand over one of the nodes when it's about to respawn. Then, a mob would spawn next to me and I had to fight it, the mat popped up, and it's was being dug by the time I killed the mob.

When I actually beat the clockwork farmer at digging that particular mat, they didn't come around anymore. =/

If someone has a route and is taking mats while you are clearing mobs around it, follow them and learn their route. You can even state out loud your intention is to learn their route so you can use it in the future.

"Wow, this is awesome. I need to write this route down."
"Thank you sooooooo much for showing me this route."
"I'll be rich in no time while I take this route. You are awesome! Can I send you a friend request?"

Make sure you have a genie that lets you fly fast, and accelerate past them once they complete a cycle.

How about Devs put more mat spawns or Cut the time they spawn by half or even less .. I mean it's only a matter of copy/paste , and giving the players the mats they freaking need is not going to kill anyone for MAdness Sakes....

Edit: ANd by the way Hamsta, theres enuff trash already been writen in these forums and it's extremely hard already on picking what to read and what not to.. For you to have such ridiculious nonsense Spam BS as signature.. with every lame reply you make.

Routes.... Damn, mats are for everyone. First who pick it, takes it fair. My favourite part of farming is "mats run", when you and other player got same route...

Ok, and what about this: me and other player floating above the mat; mob is near it. The other player decides to collect it, but he takes aggro and fight with the mob. Meanwhile, I'm taking the mat. Fair of lame?

You are correct, these materials are free for any player to collect and are not "owned" by any specific player or faction until they are gathered and placed into the player's inventory!

so another word's they can call u anything they want it aint harassment i had a kid no lie kept telling me to stop over and over 1 member from another faction and his friend would not leave me alone kept bothering me and even followed me telling me to stop and get out omg and they think they own the game but guess what pwi does even though we pay in to the game something has to be done i started this game in april last year and it started then i had sent many tickets all i get is black list but question what if your black list gets full?

Ifeel as it's a waste of time there selling mats for a high price and yes there very gready it's not just farming we all need mats for wine sense they started the bounty hunter wich now every ones farming for mats not giving others a chance to.

Trust me it's very hard to get what u need to even learn skills from the mats ,At one point last weekend i tried showing a faction member where to go to get mats for her wine for her fb 79 and the same people kept comming over and said a rude remark im sorry i dont need this kind of abuse from thease kids' bad enough i hear it on my street.

Telling me to blank myself or dont touch there mats omg grow or i wonder if they act this way at home to.I wonder what there parents are doing while there kids trash talk others on the game and it's getting worse not better.

Any how sorry for the long reply i just find it very childlish to try to push other's around be thankful this games free no month charge like other games do.

I had this same stuff today. I have played PWI for a long time and it's kinda sad the attitudes I am getting now. I didn't have this before. I have been cussed out a few times now for beating someone to a mat that we both went for. And like I said, when I first started, people knew how to deal with it.

Today, I killed the mob on top of the mat, then went for it. There was another going for the same mat and got called every name in the book for taking it. It seriously makes me laugh. I get they wanted the mat, but to keep going on and on and on about how rude I was, how much of an **** I am for taking the mat... Grow up. All I could keep telling them is "Yep" "kk" And "QQ MOAR QQ" They told me how they were there first, if that was the case, how did I end up with the mat? How come they didn't kill the mob? But they went on and on. Kinda getting old.

Really, if someone beats you to a mat, let it go. Is it really worth sitting there in a GAME telling people off for taking a mat that respawns that there are many more of?

I have met a lot of people that are quite fair in farming, i have also met bad ones, being called names, etc etc.

I was killing a mob to get to a mine a few weeks back, a tideborn waited for me to attack the mob, took the mine. While i tend to always leave the mine when i see someone attacking the mob there, i know i cant ask that from someone else, so i moved on and started farming the herbs around there. Tideborn followed me, started yelling and namecalling ' hey you *bleep bleep* i needed that all'

Sometimes meeting the not so nice people while farming can get my bloodpressure quite high (like people actually following me around on a mount a tat faster and finding out what i am going for, waiting there and doing pretty annoying smileys and whsipers when they get it)
I tend to count to ten, tell myself its probably a 14 year old, and whsiper them something nice when i get to bed like 'thanx for making farming interesting' to stay the 'better/nicer' person.
(tho you wont wanna know what im saying in rl while doing that lol)

It's kind of funny when it comes to any game when u have to deal with imature people who rather do what they do best try to make are lifes a living hell.But in the other hand it will never end the more a game offers such as whats for sale online they tend to sell mat's,whatever it also brings greed to some who sell it on game.

But in any case i know myth wars will band you if you swear or call names etc first i believe a warning and the GM'S on that game watch whats said on world chat. pirates of the caribbean you cant even give out any infol about your self or u loose your acount for 3 days.

Like any game they set there own tearms of service so will it continue with the bad mouthing swearing and control over mats i believe so but there's only so much a person can take.

That's why i switch to jade dynasty at times i know some hate it but it's a break from pwi and i dont see any one fighting over anything on there infact u get your mats from mobs dont have to dig imagine that b:laugh

but as i said befor i deal with it every day when i logg on if not me it's one of my friends and granted there some realy nice people on this game i met some young adults 14 who act as there a grown up and also met a few my age i will never tell how old iam lol but at least i can see im not the only one who has issues with mat's.
