    I doubt ppl will buy this mount.

    They d prolly make more money with a lower cost cause more ppl would buy.

    Whoa, 70 gold is pretty expensive. Not many people will buy it, and the fact that its only available untill early January will make it the next hottest priceless mount.b:chuckle

    They first took that approach when they had a frenzied panic attack before the release of that game. I still don't think it's occurred to them they have a large player base who still actually love the game and are only being driven away by PWI themselves.

    You're kidding me right? Do you know how long 35m would take for an average casual player to grind?

    The worst thing about it is it doesn't do anything, it's pure vanity. I could charge $10 zen, sell the gold and easily go buy a lobster mount, which would serve the exact same purpose. $60 purely for appearance sake is beyond a joke.

    Was a sarcastic point that people call PWI greedy, when they are just as greedy if not more so at the ingame prices they charge... pot calling the kettle black.

    ok granted, none of us have to buy it. BUT as some of has experienced in the past year of playing PWI, this is a trend. They start experimenting with prices, to get us 'used' to seeing such high numbers. Then they gradually increase prices on things, and then dump sale after sale after sale after sale......

    This is a sign of worse things to come. The marketing department needs to check themselves, cause they may be the biggest rock to drag PWI under the depths.

    I love how people are making such a huge deal out of this. You don't want it, don't buy it. Simple as that. Previous posters are right, it IS purely asthetic. There is no purpose to it other than to look cool, and as such its marketed at a price they know not everyone will pay. Why? It adds to the exoticness of seeing it. Its not needed for anything at all, and unlike Anni Packs has no chance to give powerful items. Its only there for those who WANT it. If you don't want it, don't buy it. Its that easy. No one is holding a gun to your head telling you that you HAVE to get it.

    Seriously, sometimes I think most people on PWI just like to QQ just for the sake of QQing.

    Yes, I did read previous posts. And that's why I said what I said. You don't need to buy it. And if you don't want to buy it, then don't. Business 101- You can't stay in business if you don't have a market. People QQing in this thread aren't the market they're selling to. They're selling to people who DO want it. And guess what? If no one buys it, they won't continue the trend. But people do. So if you're gonna get upset, don't get mad at the GMs, get mad at the people who show the GMs its ok to sell stuff this price. The GMs run a business. You don't call McDonalds and complain about the price of a new burger that you don't even want, do you?

    you do realize other people play this game too, right? so whether its QQ or not everyone is entitled to their say what they think on the game. thats what the forums are for right? or are they up to kiss PWI's **** every move they make. clearly, people dont see what they do is fair...

    and they feel if they say something theyll get listened to. even though past event have showed PWI doesnt listen to its players but just listens to what sells and what they can do to bring more of that, players are just expendable to them really.

    but anyway, if people dont like other people complaining then dont bother with it. these are the forums, what do you really expect, -_-

    This here is the reason. While very few if any might pay $70 for the mount, its more a product of the AH for coin possibility. People charge zen, 10 or 20 dollars to sell for game coin to get alot more value. Then some rich people hording coin says "it's only 30-35 mil coin" and buys the gold from the AH easily. A price like this wouldnt work in many F2P cash shop games where RL currency cant be exchanged to other players by any means. But this AHable zen-gold is actually rather genious and creates high zen sales by releasing high priced limited edition items.
