I was thinking the same thing, if new people have chosen some of the changed hairstyles, PWI may have to keep both the new and old styles and provide a way for the people affected to choose one.

i wouldnt really care about compensation either if they would just fix it... but at their rate of response, we are going to be playing like this into february.. and then, finally some day, they are going to stop dragging their feet and act like theyre so kindly doing us a favor.

any logical mind would have the foresight to implement a solution with the changes of the expansion.

they didnt even respond to my ticket about this, yet they responded to a later ticket over a different matter.
this is just a slap in the face.

you know why they pull this sh*t off..
its to make as many people as possible break down and buy a make over scroll.. to keep the money wheels rolling.. no?

Thank you for letting us finally hear something about it being looked into.

I noted on my wife's email on the hair problem, they say if you buy a makeover scroll after receiving the email, you will NOT be compensated. Considering how long it's taking for them to fix this, I find that a bit rude if not even an attempt to get people to spend more money to fix a problem caused by them and not be held accountable by including that little "catch".

Could be just me (bitter and jaded as I am b:scorn lol), could be simply poor wording on their part (not like that has ever happened lol), or.... b:surrender

A few courses in Business Management have shown me that if one waits a while, most people will pay to fix a problem rather then wait till it's fixed. So how many of you have already bought and used scrolls (and now won't be compensated) to fix this? b:question

"After you submit this ticket, please do not take any further action to correct this issue that would cost you anything as they will NOT be reimbursed." This is from the email my wife received concerning the use of makeover scrolls.

I was rather disappointed as well when I logged in to see a complete change in my wizards hair, body and face, she was totally reset; not to mention the hair I liked is now no longer in the menu...alas, I found this forum too late it seems. I've used a great many scrolls to fix this; as I lost that one total customization, dye changes for clothes on all of them and my psycho still had an orange face! I bought my 6th make over scroll and swam her to Arch so I could finally fix her night before last. My Wizard though was the worst one of the bunch as I stated first. Had to redo her almost every time I logged into her and I finally gave up on trying to get her back the way she was; so she now looks nothing like she did when I first made her. So far tho, now after logging in the other night to find my clothing colors reset, my clerics lipstick is back and my psycho is still the same, as of this moment in time at least...all seems to be well, so something got fixed. I just hope that it can manage to stay this way as it makes me cringe now to login after an update and not knowing if my characters will look the way they did when I left them or if they will be something completely different. I know that nothing is perfect but I agree with what has been said previously, a heads up would be nice so we would have taken action sooner. Thanks for letting me vent, this has definitely been a frustrating few weeks. lol

my elf, Lucemia, was the only character affected on my account.

Ok, I don't know about any of you others, but the GMs sent me a makeover scroll for each of my characters affected by it, is this telling me I'll never see my pretty hair again? b:sad I'd gladly give back the scrolls if I could just have my hair back on my characters. I loved my hair, and going around on my main looking like a housewife is not really the heroic image I was going for, sure I can change it now, I suppose its a solution... but not one I'm really happy about. I mean, I went 88 lvls with that hairstyle, it meant something special to me and I never had a reason to change it. Now I have to change it. b:sad

Wait I thought that this issue was getting taken care of... Well I don't really consider giving makover scrolls "fixing the problem" I want my OLD hair back, I don't wanna have to pick a new style b:sad

ok thats messed up everyone getting this mail and i got none and i posted on here with it....i didnt get a scroll and i want my hair back and im a mage...we get screwed enough fix the problem...

I got a makeover scroll too, but it just appeared in my inventory without a note; I thought maybe I got it on a quest and didn't notice. Does this mean I have to pick another hair style? All of the other ones I'd have chosen are gone via the glitch; I don't care for any of the new or original hairstyles. =( The one I used to have is gone, and I can't find any now that actually look curly. This is very disappointing indeed. b:sad

To all the people who don't read their emails or perhaps haven't received an email, but have received a makeover scroll via in game mail:

I received an email yesterday stating that they will be sending a makeover scroll to me via in game mail and that I should not use it until they release their official fix because they will not reissue another scroll. As for all the others who haven't received an email or a makeover scroll, I don't know what to tell you, except that maybe they haven't got to you yet. Good luck.

i just hope the official fix is that they r putting the hair back, those hairs they put in suck. give us the good ones back plz
