see for the first time; make a discovery; "Who discovered the North Pole?"
sounds like native americans to me..
and if you want to play that game.. the brittish found America first, right after the native americans, just because someone else named it, doesn't mean they discovered it.
b:laughb:laugh BRITISH DISCOVERED AMERICA??????? b:laugh
How can a person say "brittish found america first"? I have no words for this...
For you:
Cristobal Colon (spanish) discovered America, and Americo Vespucci (italian) discovered that America was a continent (because of that, the name of the continent is America).
I think Spanish is not the same than british...0 -

So if the Native Americans came to Europe they would of discovered Europe?0 -

If one native american go to Europe and return to America for say that Europe exists, yeah, this native american has discovered Europe...Psytrac - Raging Tide wrote: »The expeditions became widely known in Europe after two accounts attributed to Vespucci were published between 1502 and 1504. Correct. I was wondering when someone was going to point that out to these people. After the Native Americans, the Vikings (Norse) found North America long before the Spanish.0 -

Vikings say to people "America exists"? No, it is no discover, it is found.
I discovered how to do cold fusion, but I won't tell anyone0 -

Look it up...it was passed on for ages there's even "scientific evidence" to validate it.
So if its not written its not discovered?0 -

1- I don't understand what you want say. Cristobal Colon discovered America on 1492.
2-Christopher Columbus???? XDDDD Cristobal Colon is the name.
This is like if spanish people write chespir instead of Shakespeare...
3- Normal people don't need wikipedia for known who discovered America...0 -

Are you really a moron? I am quite sure that the group that found America told their own people it existed. As for the other countries, would you tell a ENEMY nation about a new continent? If you know so much about history, you would know that until long after Columbus told people about the Americas, that the Norse were enemies of the other countries. Just because they didn't tell YOUR country "Mr. high and mighty", doesn't mean they didn't tell anyone.
Also, if you say it wasn't written, you are wrong, there are many records of them finding it, just the fact the Norse used different calendars and that the language (Runic) wasn't translated until the modern era.

The reasons do not matter... If you don't tell to the world, you don't discover anything.
And bye, I do not want to have a discussion with people who believe that U.S. is the center of the universe and use words like "moron" for talk with people...
And remember, the name is William shakespeare not guiliam chespir, and the name is CRISTOBAL COLON not chrystopher columbus...0 -
it's called evidence..0

LOL. Do you really think I think the USA is the center of the universe? That is quite amusing. I was just pointing out facts. I actually believe that the USA is one of the worst countries in this world, and has multiple problems. Also, I am also leaving this thread, since I do not like talking to someone who thinks they are better than everyone else. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE WAY SOMEONE IS, IGNORE THEM. Your measly lifespan will not change anything America believes, at least not until you are long passed away.0 -
I just think this thread is heading for a lock from either a GM or a Mod.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
The Past is but a mere memory. Never Regret, for it can never be changed.0 -
Guepard - Sanctuary wrote: »I AM NOT FROM UNITED KINGDOM
You known what mean "I am not from UK"?
You need to know that U.S. is known around the world by the ignorance of its inhabitants, you are the best example of this...
So its ok to call this person an idiot (in nicer words).Guepard - Sanctuary wrote: »The reasons do not matter... If you don't tell to the world, you don't discover anything.

...and you rage quit the thread for someone calling you moron when you clearly got this history fact shoved in your face that you dismissed as not true.0
