    MultiClienting = Running Multiple Instances of the client on ONE computer. (this be bad.)

    Multiboxing = Having multiple computers and running one instance of the Client on each computer. (This be allowed)

    This. I have two of my characters running at the same time and kill stuff for it, but I'm using two computers, not running two clients on one computer. How are you sure its multiclienting? This specific instance just seems like getting angry at having to wait to kill your needed boss.

    This doesn't really mean much..
    I have two computers, and I play on my Barb, and my Tideborn at the same time. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

    Didnt know had to send tickets for this kinda of purpose.

    Then, if you are saying 'i have another PC and i can log in another acc'

    How we will know if you are not using Multiclienting? Or VMware? [ VMware is not allowed?]

    Its all the same, no matter if you have a CyberCafe and log into all PCs, its all ONE person for those players.

    Or you can run a Virtual Windows Client on the same Comp (eats a lot of memory tho which means s**t quality in game.)

    Its basicly to say that its allowed, so, this rule is totaly useless (my point of view).

    i dont personally see the big deal with multi-clienting, its basically

    "QQ my computer isnt good enough to run the game twice, damn all you people who have nice pc's, we must nerf them for it"

    but suddenly, its ok for those complaining people to spend $1000's on Anniversary packs etc to gain the upper hand with weps and armour; over those who cant afford to pay big bucks for this luxury, and were not even allowed to complain against it

    The bad part of this whole thread is she was making a statement on a possible violation and you all started to FLAME her.. Well.. what I see out of this is another high level making him/her an **** by jumping line in a quest related boss area.. Yes she may have misrepresented her claim but a valid point is another high lvl ticking another player off by not being COURTEOUS and waiting his/her turn..

    AND before you think about flaming me I also have a 68 Veno and a 61 Barb and I am very courteous when in an area of lower lvls QUESTING even when helping one of my lower alts.. I know it will take me 1/5th the time to kill it then them so I have no problem waiting my turn, heck in most cases Ill help them out too...

    i was arguing against the RULE of Multi-clienting being bannable, i think its stupid, because it makes it easier for people to open TT runs, to fill players

    and before you all moan "ohh that's unfair", i think its unfair rich people can be so much stronger in this game that people with less money

    I had to wait for a while til everyone kills and leave and then complet my quest. And even when i first hit and fight, another player KSed.

    Actually its a moot point, because even if you multiclient, element.exe is so unstable you will be spending half your time closing error reports and relogging.

    1 is allowed. 1 is not.

    whether both should be allowed is moot, as we don't make or decide the rules. PWI does. They say it isn't allowed to run more than one client per machine... then it isn't allowed.

    1) It can be bannable, they have stated that in MANY previous threads, however as long as playing on different computers they have stated it is "legal."

    2) Calling out/flaming/inciting on the forums is also a violation of the TOS and thus this thread should have been edited and closed Hours ago when it was first posted.

    I personally don't think running two programs on the same PC is a big issue.

    But there are rules to be followed and if you want to play THEIR game you need to follow THEIR rules.

    If only I would follow my own advice on most of my postings.

    along with the basic system requirement programs....
    me happen to typically run 3-4 (other) games (only run 1 instance of each...except for one game since there be nothing against multi clienting there and it be a designed to...work together with...others which doesn't work out too well...) at once,
    while me stay connected to the hamster network, and use me mental strength to improve our technology.
