Is it true that wizards suck until 60?

I've heard it from a couple people, so I was just wondering if I could get a couple more opinions. I'm going to make one anyways but I just wanted to know if wizards are THAT weak. Would I be able to solo or would I have to party in order to level 1-60?

some would say till 90
if ur wearing robe, 60 will be easy (only mag mobs and better skills)
party on archer mobs and you will be fine..i like potato0 -

Play them yourself and find out.
Ive loved mine since day one, a yes you will be able to solo most quests, after previously being a cleric i found it alot better being a wizard due to more independancy and less expectance of being in a squad.
An like its been said, any class is only as good as the player.0 -
If u can afford some hp/mp charms as well as legend weapons and gear with +int then you will be lvling like crazy w/o dying at all.
In fact good items give wiz more benefits than any other class.
I know what I m saying cuz I have lvl60 archer (natural-born lvler) and lvl 55 mage; I put similar (rather huge) amount of coins into both of them and wiz is much faster and easier in terms of lvling/comfort of playing.
i.e. My order of the stars +3 (lvl 30 lenedary weapon) allowed me to 2-hit mobs for very long time, and later on, using whel of fate (lvl 43 legendary weapon) I was killing aqua monster with my earth nukes and reached lvl50 in no time.
So if you know how to use this char, u have some coins to spend and u choose your skills properly then you simply turn into demi-god yet before lvl60.0 -
being a wizard is eaaasy lol~
and me was using weapons like a dozen levels lower then me!

we dont suck untill 60 we just dont get our full potential till at least 79 if u make a wiz be sure u dont play it to be strong at low lvls cuz thatsa not wiz. if u wanna be a wiz be ready to lvl hard till 80+ then u can really show off0

So all in all
-Wizard isn't hard Pre-60's if you know what you're doing.
-Wizard IS a solo class practically.
-Wizard > all other classes end game.
Don't play wizard to get another lvl 60 char to pk with cause you won't be so succesful, unless your target is a complete noob b:chuckle0 -

Exact opposite of everything you said, except for the last segment of Wizard > all classes end game.
Your not a Solo class, a veno is a solo class. Unless were talking PvE, Mages are hard to play as hell. Unlike a BM where you just slaughter everything mindlessly, you need tactic to play a mage.
Even as LA, until you get molders your going to have a hard time.
89+ is where your half decent with 3 sparks, your DPS goes insane. 100+ is when your considered to have a huge E-peen.0 -

2x better is true cause of our huge damage and 79 skills but
still you are getting one/two shorted by Archers
4/5 shorted by BM ,Barb and Cleric.
we can kill other class with sneak attack but duel is different story.
you don't have a chance to win duel if your opponent know what they are doing.

honesly, even i use decent armor (mold set) 3* etc, i got 2/3 shorted by +5 Frost bow Archer (one shorted if they spark).

we wont stay squishy for long with the 9x gear we get alot of deff and our buff doubles it we'll have more deff then any other class beside bm and babrs. and i guess also heavy veno u can ask any decent 9x wiz he'll tell u he got like 5-6k hp 7-9k deff
beside with that much dmg the enemy wont survive long enough to kill u 1 of the reasons wiz is so good at end game and once u get sage/demon earth barrier 130-150% more deff0 -

ye i use aquaride i just say its aquadash since most ppl dont know whats aquaride and anyway its about 50 dmg less then aquadash and about 4 magic less i dont see why it matters0 -

Aquaride =/= Aquadash
Aquaride = Grade 10 Weapon on par with a Wheel of Life
Aquadash = Grade 12 Weapon quite a bit better than both, even better than the level 90 TT Glaive
Plus there is the thing of a 20mil+ price difference.
Correct me if im a wrong, but its like saying you got a top of the range car like an Audi TT when infact you got the base model Audi TT.

Pve wise:
Robe Wizards have an easy time grinding no matter of lvl, unless you just don't understand how to play this class
LA wizards do ok, but u need to stack some crit somehow and still don't come to par with Robe.
PvP wise:
Robe suck until 90, unless you're rich. And if you're rich, just oracle your **** to 90.

once again most ppl know what aquadash is. not aquaride w/e also its about 50 dmg + 4 magic diff so idc how much price diff it is i just wanted to give ppl a clue about my dmg and a wiz with +5 aquaride doesnt suck at 80s the dmg is quite nice hiting about 20k+ each hit so ye bite me0 -

PvE wise: Robe - u will be fine from level 40+ but u wont be as good as an Archer, BM (from level 70+ ONLY IF he aoe grinds), and veno.
Light - u should be fine at any level really, but like robe u wont be better than ^
PvP wise: Robe - u will be very useful in group PvP when u get to level 79 IF u get undine strike, u get at LEAST 2k HP, u get the 79 legendary weapon, and ur physical def is at LEAST 3k.
Light - u will be excellent in PvP specially when u get to level 79, but u will still be dangerous be4 that level. U will lose to a robe wizzard in PvP unless ur rich and have VERY GOOD gears.
PvP advice for robe wizzards as soon as u get close to 79: U wont beat clerics if the cleric knows how to play so just avoid fighting them 1v1 cause the only way to beat them is if ur Blade Tempest has enough level and u use double channeling pots be4 killing them (make sure their HP is at half and use xpoison to make sure they really die). Avoid fighting BMs in the air cause they WILL one shot u if they have the right genie skill, and on the ground make sure u have 2 sparks to kill them with Blade Tempest. If they r not using the skill that increases their mag def just kill them with the following combo (xpoison)gush+pyrogram+turn back and distance shrink + gush + pyrogram(their charms should tick with this or even with the first gush and pyrogram)+ sutra and anti stun pot+(xpoison) sandstorm+stone rain+will of the phoenix and they should be dead otherwise just use gush or something lol. Always go PvP with full cleric buffs if possible. Dont fight barbs cause u wont have enough firepower to kill a charmed one be4 he gets u. U might not be able to kill venos cause u wont kill them be4 u kill them if u ignore the pet (bad ideia) and if u get undine strike u can 2 shot their pet but they will run a rez the pet.(\__/)
