    Actually i meant on the toon itself, where a male with fish tale seems odd, compare to female with a tale....maybe simply because we grow up with all those disney mermaid fairytale, but never a male version without looking creepy like the fiji mermaid in X-file? b:shocked

    I have a question.

    A question that has been bothering me since seeing this preview and the launch site.

    Here is my question...

    Will their skin HAVE to be blue? Because I just can't see any way of me being sexy in my bikini if my skin is blue.

    Like..Blue skin, black bikini.

    NO

    Ain't no one gunna wanna hold me for getting their chi if I've got blue skin.

    So yeah, will we be able to change their skin color?

    i first got pwi age of spirits 2 months ago and i have to download patch 144-211.size was 517 mb.i w8 for 4 hours and almost half was downloaded.then i downloaded manually and everything was done in about 45 mins.so, can some1 tell me where i can download new patch manually, will it be at the same place as old patches??by the way i am sick at the moment. best timing ever i wont go to school i will just play tideborns.b:coldb:coldb:laugh

    How would you suggest making an international game launch at a time when "everyone" can play? If they launch it mid-afternoon PST, it'll be almost midnight Europe time, for example.

    That said, don't sweat exactly when the update will go live. Get a good night's sleep, the game will still be here when you wake up ;) Being an East Coaster, I plan to get up bright and early on Wednesday for some Tideborn action before work...

    Traditionally mermaids have always been female (tales of sailors spotting beautiful women out in the middle of the ocean, etc) but in modern pop culture some people give them two genders (such as to answer the obvious question, "How do they reproduce?"), like the aforementioned Little Mermaid.

    Personally, I'm glad that Tideborn aren't a gender-restricted race like the Untamed are- that race is one of my major pet peeves in PW.

    3 more days ^^ I can practically smell the new content:D I'm really hoping that they will also improve the graphical looks and details of the characters. The two pics in Korren's thread clearly showed graphical improvements, unless it was not for the Perfect World game, or was a photoshop, which I hope it wasn't. I really hate the way the hands look, and overall the physics of the characters should be improved; Jade Dynasty toons look much nicer but that game purely sucks. Still even if they won't improve the graphics I'm looking forward to the new content and Psychics FTW!!!! b:laugh

    I'm so psyched...oh man. I'm trying to distract myself by leveling my BM a bit but it doesn't appear to be working at all, lol.

    I'm going to make both classes...one will be male and the other female. I can't just pick one, all the characters look so cool...

    I'm just imagining how terrible the lag will be that day, though, and I'm wondering if logging in will be a problem.

    I am just coming back to PW after a long absence. To me Genies are brand new and other features as well.

    All of you go ahead and start Tideborn characters in the new areas all you want... I will be in the original areas relearning the game and enjoyinhg the peace and quiet.
