Thread rules kinda strict?

i been noticing alot of treads are being closed lately, and alot of threads that dont break any of the rules, whats up with this,,,, i thought threads were freedom of speech besides anything vulgar,rasist or none relating to the thread? any answers?

    It stops people from creating multiple threads about the same topic. If gms didnt close them, I'm guessing the first page in general discussion would be filled with anni pack topics.

    They close threads like yours recently based on its been talked about before a million times.

    You do have the right to say what you want but just do it in the right spot. b:victory

    I don't believe a forum allows you freedom of speech, unless it's your own. This is a website that belongs to Perfect World and they have the right to allow or dis-allow anything they wish (hence there being rules)
    They close multiple threads that are about they same topic and they also close threads that have the potential for flaming/trolling to begin (Since flaming is against forum policy) it is also against policy to mouth off at the staff, which A LOT of posts do, so that can get you closed too.

    Perhaps a more better way to describe "Freedom of speech" to anyone who misunderstands what it means.

    1. You have the right to say whatever you want.
    2. Once you are done then you must deal with the consequences of your actions.

    Too many people feel they are dealt unjustly for their so called Freedom of Speech.

    There are Thread Rules, and then there are Grammar **** Rules, and then there are OMG Necro, You Bastage Rules, and the My ***** Is Bigger Than Yours, Shuttup Rules.

    The first one is the only one that counts. Ignore the rest.

    LOL iam not only a lawyer but an american and i dont mean to be rude but you are all wrong about freedom of speech it means as stated in the 1st and 14th Amendments to the Constitution of the United States, to express information, ideas, and opinions free of government restrictions in the right that you cant get in any kind of trouble unless it reprasent a threat on another humans life at worst is a ristiction order read up on history wht u speak of is the sam as the opression from britian wene america split off another defanition for it is Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak without censorship and\or limitation pepole can make a mess trying to get another in trouble for wht they say but wene it comesdown to it unless u just said your going to kill the president freedom of speech means wht it is and many time pepole forget that

    this is mostly true unless it is historic and its never them just takeing it ur are usely paid 20 to 30% more than the home value plus you get perks allot of time such as moveing fees that the state has to pay in most cases if u look deep enfh you get ur dew in the end

    Anyway, this Freedom of Speech nonsense is ridiculous. Freedom of Speech prevents GOVERNMENT censorship and last time I checked, PWI was NOT a government branch.

    NOW back to the subject 1.) the rules do have to be kinda strict cause if otherwise not the forums server would be overloaded within a month from spam and QQ's about trivial matters that nothing can really be done about. 2.) alot of the threads ive noticed thats been locked is either because its practically the same as a thread on the very first page or its saying something like 'pwi is dying' which has the prob to instigate people quiting cause come on do u want to play a MMO thats falling behind?(sidenote: if pwi dies im goin to come for u pwi staff so keep up ur amazingly awesome work k?) and 3.) just like other said some of the closed threads were ripe for flaming or trolling and like we need to deal with that these days eh? ANYWAYS my fingers hurt QQ WTB>IceyHot plz and thx. btw gms if theres anything rong with this post feel free to either remove to section or delete the post all together.
