    If your magic damage reduction near to 0, then your "high" hp will be near to 0 from few magic attacks.

    And if my Wizard can hold up to 6-7 magic attacks without healing, then he will be better, than Barb.

    No because they'd take a lower amount of damage than the Barb would.

    Quick example: an unbuffed tank barb at 70 with just an unrefined/unsharded set of TT70 armors (and using mdef accessories) will have around 5.5k HP and 37% in resists.

    The unbuffed wiz with vit at 70 with unrefined/unsharded set of TT70 armor (and using pdef accessories) will have around 2.8k HP (a bit above half of what the barb has) and 67% (more than double what the barb has) in resists.

    A cleric healing both from magical damage would need far stronger heals to keep up with healing the barb than with healing the wiz. Also, assuming there were no heals involved, the wiz would actually survive one or two more attacks than the barb would.

    But barbarians are good Tanks for bosses with Physical attack.

    Wizards can tank magic bosses without much problem.The problem is with physical bossesb:chuckle.I tanked a lot myself.Wizard power b:victory.

    (barb)37 x 2 = 74 b:surprised

    (wiz) 67 : 2 = 33.5


    now, im just saying:
    37 > 33.5

    9x archer, bm,barb (-not sure if wiz did, but know different ppl tanked) can solo. so wiz tanking is nothign new.

    Clerics can tank this boss too. I tanked it with no other Cleric at level 84. Eyes did hit me for slightly over 4k one time...that was scary. You just need to know how to heal, purify and use Plume Shell is you are a Cleric. Same with Jewels.

    The wizard was me lvl 87

    Also since i tanked eye i then proceded to tank the next really tough bosses

    did Polearm and Gaurnob in 69 with a lvl 83 cleric healing me

    How much pdef and HP do u have ? I want to try to tank Krimson but i don't think i can make it.

    You should have mentioned the following things as well:
    Your Wizzard wears heavy armor. I personally think the sacrificing of both a lot magic attack and magic defence is not worth that.
    Polearm and Gaumob totally depend on the cleric healing you because without a fast purify not even a barb can stand them very long.
    My personal opinion is that any boss that a person can not solo, is no achievement counting for that person.

    Did you tank Krimson or solo it?
    I know that high lvl Clerics can solo almost any boss, meaning truely solo healing, purifying, damaging all themselves.

    No achievement my a$$. You just said it, not even a barb can stand them for long. That's because they're damn tough. If a wizzie can take them, that's impressive in my books. You make it sound like you could tank them yourself with a good cleric.

    Veno's can solo most bosses. Meaning any other class taking them on with a cleric just fail cause they didn't solo. Oh wait.

    When you can do just as well, then you can criticize others.

    Never underestimate the power of a wizard. I've never tried tanking Krimson before (don't have the 'nads to), but I know it's possible--seen it happen before this...with an arcane wiz.

    As silly as this is going to sound, I don't consider a Veno with a pet a 'solo' run, as they have DO have a Tank/Healer relationship happening between them. It just so happens they don't need to look for an outside tank nearly as often. Not a slam towards Venos, BTW...it's just common sense IMO. It's not a true solo unless your taking the hits and dishing them out all on your own.

    That being said...while statistically it's not surprising that a wizard tanked Krim (anything can be used to tank it, so long as they have just enough HP to take high-end spikes and enough heal strength backing them to endure the DPS), there aren't enough people that are gutsy enough to try. That in and of itself is a huge achievement, HA or otherwise. So well done. b:victory

    I really don't see whats so "OMFG" about this. Anyone and any class can tank pretty much any boss in the game if they have the right gear, build, buffs and good clerics. I guess harpy wraith would be the exception tho lol.

    Guessing the wizard can wear some sort of heavy armor? Or she has really nice base phy def/hp as arcane being a big cash shopper lolz. Ive seen both archer, BM and also cleric tank this boss btw.

    Well done tho must have been a bit of a charm ****. Wish more ppl would realize that you don't always need barbs to tank stuff b:cute
