Can you buy pets?

Ok, this is what i know so far (I'm a newbie, but a fast learner... sometimes). You have to be a Venomancer in order to tame pets, which you can turn into pets. You can also buy rare pets.

But is there somewhere that I can get just ordinary pets (like a Sabertooth wolf-things that are outside the south gateof the Lost City) for a reasonable price (i've check other's shop and the prices on these things are NOT COOL!)

    As a barbarian, you can't use a normal pet. The only possibility for you right now would be to find a relatively low priced all-class pet. These pets don't help you in combat, and are more like a fashion item (except in pvp, because some pets make it harder to target you). If you're looking to be a melee user and still have a pet, I'd suggest re-rolling as a venomancer and using a fox form build.

    Venomancers are Female. Barbarians are male. It will forever be this way. So suck it up and deal with it already.

    Right now I don't care if they attack or not. I thought it would just be fun to have a pet!

    even if you find a veno who'll catch you the regular eggs you'd have to pay 200k for combining them... that's what makes them expensive....
