Remember those days where half this board would be covered in phoenix QQ topics, being spammed and flamed left and right? Remember when people complained that its not fair that venos could get a so called 'over powered' item from the cash shop, and other classes cant?

Well, you finally got the tables turned. The anniversary packs gave you exactly what you whiny players asked for. Endgame gear / powerful items in the CS to match what venos have. What do you do? You complain. It just goes to show, no matter how much people get what they want, theyll still find something to whine over.

Quit complaining about anniversary packs, theyre exactly what the old player base asked for, so why whine?

Somehow I don't think the idea was to give everyone OP weapons from the cash shop. The idea was to take the weapons of the venos out of the cash shop, not put other weapons in. b:chuckle

I'm glad more are catching on. Hopefully everyone else will realize this and understand. There is never absolute balance in the human condition. Even though this is a game, humans run it and play it so there is no escaping reality... everything in life shifts and right now it's not in the majorities favor so they will tend to whine and "QQ" as it were lolz.

Since there is no telling how long things will remain this way, it's best to try and adjust and move forward. If not, you can always turn off the game and do something else for a while... why torture yourself if you aren't enjoying your playing experience?

Sadly most of the time ppl like that dont know where the power button is. Its as if their own existence is attached to the cyber world by some invisible umbilical cord, and if its severed they will cease to exist. .oO{wouldnt that be nice}Oo. LOL.

In general ppl will always find something to wine and complain about. Its human nature to be unsatisfied even when we get what we asked for. Unless you were raised to be grateful and thankful for the things you have and not stress over what you dont. b:victory

I am a pretty content person in real life. But to be perfectly honest, I LOVE a good argument, whine, or troll fest. Heck, I will often argue the opposite of what I actually believe, just to be contrary (especially if everyone else believes the way I do).

    But I digress.

    People are unsatisfied.

They have a nagging feeling that their lives and everything they do amounts to nothing (and they would be correct for the most part) and so they are generally unhappy. This often translates into a need to whine and complain about perceived ills and wrongs to attempt to feel justified for this feeling they have that they are pathetic, empty, mindless drones. Just one more mindless bleating sheep in a herd of billions.

They ARE pathetic, empty, mindless drones. Bleating sheep, and nothing they can do will change that because they FEAR to step away from the herd and risk the wolves. So instead they bleat out their frustration.

Heck, even I fall into that category sometimes. The herd mentality that we have pounded into us from day one is a hard thing to overcome.

You seem to be confused about what part is necessarily being complaining about what the Anniversary Packs. What's being complained is how far those products can make a difference in space between people that spend 1.) a lot of money into this game, 2.) a little amount of money into this game, or 3.) no money at all into the game. And that difference of space extending itself every damn time that it gains the chance to become larger. Until people feel that that exact space is creating a entirely separate plane of level in playing the game to any kind of players (ones that gain massive levels and wealthy gears through 100% instance runs, questing, and the like, and those that gain the same exact thing by spending 'a lot of money' and not working nearly as much).
Heck, I will often argue the opposite of what I actually believe, just to be contrary (especially if everyone else believes the way I do).

Funny, from what you said, sure seemed like you were implying I didn't know what being the Devils advocate was and thought you would be cute by attempting to show me up by explaining it as a debate tactic. Thus my response.

And while what I do may be nothing 'special' do try to remember that most people are NOT debaters and don't have any idea how to argue for something they don't believe in. Unfortunately, debating clubs in schools are frequently non existent any more. More is the pity.

Rofl. Well, I have LITERALLY been known to argue with a Fence post. Sometimes I see a potential argument in things where there isn't one.

The fence post bit is a short story. We were putting up 3700 feet of 6 foot chain link. One of my guys mixed the concrete thin for one of the corner poles. It kept leaning off true. I finally stood there for 20 odd minutes holding the post true, while cussing it, him and the concrete soundly and roundly until the concrete set enough to hold the post itself.

So when I say I have argued with a Fence post... I'm not fibbing!!!

If you remember from the story, the fence post had a weak base for the argument.... So it had no chance to stand on its own....

im not confused about a single thing. people whined about the exact same thing about venomancers and phoenixes. they also demanded some kind of way to get an edge over others via CS as well, or have a nerf/increase in price on phoenix. now they have the price increase due to ridiculous gold prices + advantageous items via the CS. its exactly what the players asked for, now theyre complaining about something they brought on themselves. its just plain dumb.

People complained that everyone gets overpowered gear from the boutique.

It sounds to me that people have a consistent opinion that overpowered things available in the boutique are bad. How is this foolish?

it was your argument that it was unfair 'venos get an unfair advantage by having an 'endgame' item avaliable in the CS from level 1.' ive also seen you make posts saying itd be nice if archer could get really nice weapons from cs, maybe thatd make it fair. im saying, people complain about getting what they want alot of the time.

I think the difference is that the gear you get from the packs can be obtained IN GAME, as opposed to the special pets for venos that you can not work hard in game to obtain. No doubt, there will still be complaints if there were special weapons or gear which was not normally obtainable in game through the cash shop, but I think the main feeling of betrayal is that people who have worked so hard in the game (and often spending lots of real life cash for charms etc. as well) suddenly find the symbol of their achievements cheapened.

Also, Venos are still overpowered. They can still use those fantastic gear available to others now, plus their nix and herc. So there is no net balancing per se.b:chuckle

I don't think I have ever said I prefer archers to have end game equipment available from the cash shop. I believe I have only drawn equivalent comparisons to demonstrate how it would be unfair.

Most of the event gear is high level only except the tome and wings of cloud charger.
