so what did you get this is the best i got plus a belt and a ornament pack and i used 100 i got the mount after 6 packs though.

    Me used all my savings... which gave me 4 packs
    chose 3 jolly jones pack and got.... 3 Halloween candy boxes. Used 1 trick or treat and got .... 10 fat bro pills.

    Not good, used all my money (12 m total) aka 120 boxes, only got a bunch of crappy items such as treats, pills, boxes that I can't even open OH and candy.

    Not even something worth selling... aka a waste of time and money and patience, though I've learned one thing on the bad way, do never gamble on PWI

    For those who haven't read the actual news post, or forum stick, about it:

    Hold on to those boxes that you can't open. They're known to not be working yet, and should be fixed soon. (Probably in this next patch)

    i bought 2 packs and got some candy and a common saphire shardb:surrender
    i am not gonna spend more for gambling but luckily this event will drain some coins from the game and possibly decrease gold price
    but i like the 2 free thing we got

    and now in the sense of the fashion i got

    argh im a pirate
    its impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
    just try to be a good person

    I wouldn't count on it. Given what people are saying they've gotten from packs, it all sounds like junk aside from the rare items. Although, it is a lot cheaper to get the packs with coin than with gold right now so some coin might get drained but I doubt it will be a whole lot unless lots of people like using money for rare chances at mounts.

    I had 14 scrolls I got when they were on sale, on retrospect, I should have sold them but I wanted a chance at the wings..I got candy and 5 trick or treat boxes and lowbie gear box...Zzz Also a headless horseman belt...b:cry

    11m spent.... all on trick-or-treat boxes(I wanted the new shtuff...)

    Lots of Candy
    Lots of Treats
    9 Common Shards(Garnets, Saphires, Ambers and Citrines)
    LOTS AND LOTS of the following:
    Fat Bro pills
    Pumpkin Pills
    Monkey King Pills

    1 Armor pack
    1 Ornament pack
    1 Weapon pack

    So for the sake of these GMs lifes, I hope theres something good in these packs... cuz I didnt get sht....

    Meh, I spent 100k on 1 box, got 5 candy worth 12.5k.

    I do like the pirate outfit though, and I love the blessing!!! I hope they keep it around 1 month like they did last year! b:victory

    Here i was worried they would hand out FF gear or something like that.
    Of course, pwdatabase cant be trusted. Who knows, maybe PWI can still **** up the market a little more. Gotta wait till next week. If PWI doesnt sell as much as they were hoping to, i bet they'll even shove lunar gear on the item packs. They **** the market for over a month, whats another week right?

    Loads of candies, pills, 4 headless horseman belts, all utter ****

    I only did this 'event' for the nightfall mount and flame drill and got squat. Worthless -_-

    I heard someone in my guild say Halloween Treats. And then I flashbacked to last year's gamble. So I decided not to bother. I'm loving the Pirate outfit though.

    They give a random buff such as attack speed up and similar. And also they stack ... as soon as you don't open the boxes, simply open one and eat the 5 candy befor you open the next one ... pretty easy ain't it :P

    And yes the event is another scam by PW, just spend about 35 mil on packs and got no horsey or aero ... great. Hopefully it will soon be possible to open those weapon, ornament and armor packs.
    Also I am not suprised ppl build up more and more scam shop to cheat their fellow players as the game itself does the same with us.

    Jolly old jones is located In the North district of City of lost, past the gates.

    Jones is also located at the inn of the eagle, South of Etherblade

    its not a quest you just trade 100k or 1 gs for a box and hope its in there you can try as many times as you want.

    Another "scam" of sorts going on is the selling of Halloween pirate costumes. Why buy them when I can get my own for free on all my six characters (and any new ones I create), then trade colors among them if needed? Besides, the costumes disappear in one week anyway so don't waste money on them.

    u think a bit more, u will realise what u r saying is bs, juz a bit more, dont need to think a lot
    i got plumes at the 15th box, i tell u, its all random, some ppl r lucky, some r not. (maybe thats y i am not complaining u can say that, but thats besides the point)

    In your case, u bought 350 boxes, and if we take the probability of getting aerogear as 0.1% and horse as 0.2% (http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/quest/17048),
    the probability of u not getting any of these is 0.995^350 which is about 17.3%, thats more than 1/6.
    So do u go around shouting "ZOMFG i am freaking god damed lucky today! Can u believe it? i got a 6 from throwing a die!" people will think u r ****, seriously.

    Yet I have not taken into account the probability difference in getting aerogears like brilliant plumes, flame drill and beetle, from Nakir, daedelus and Israfel, they probably have a lower chance to get. I cannot take into account this factor as pw database dont have ToT there. But the probability of u getting all **** should be higher than 17.3%, 17.3% is juz a safe figure, on the lower end.

    Out of 100 boxes, i got a bunch of candy, stones, pills , a Nakir, a Horseman amulet.

    But I'm having some fun with it. I take my candy to the new places, away from Jolly Old Jones, where the new people are playing and say ," Happy Halloween" and drop the candy all over the place. Fun Fun.
