    It is said that it will come out during the Winter of 2009.

    But seriously, nobody knows, except the developers. They can choose to delay/quicken the release. The only info I've heard is that it will come out during winter.

    I had thought at one point that it would be close to Thanksgiving. This was based mainly on the patch numbers and the pre-loading of files. However, with the way that they seem to be dragging it out, I would guess that we get this expansion at about the same time we got the last one. Which is to say, January. Really when you think about it, how can they release the Tideborn expansion before Christmas and expect to get money for it after Christmas? With the new race there will be loads of new boutique items, and from a merchandising point of view, it would be better to release it after all the Christmas hubub. We will have Halloween events, Thanksgiving events, and the entire month of December will be Christmas events like it was last year. After we have already blown all our coffers on these events, they release the expansion, introduce loads of new items, and bleed even more money out of us during a period where sales are typically at an all-time low.

    But really, these are just my thoughts, and PW is doing a really good job of keeping the lid on the information available. too bad they haven't fixed the issue where you can get yourself sent to Tideborn by using Town Portal in the wrong spot. I've tried a few times to find it, just to get some screenies. No luck so far.

    I think you r right!!! :(( They want to make more profit, but December is too late for me. Winter is my longest holiday. If they release it on January, my school is gonna start, and I cannot play anymore. :(( So sad

    I remember hearing that it will come out in october. The 200 patch theory does make sense as well.

    I'm going to stick my neck out and say that it will come out this week.
