Its not bad.
If you spend RL money, not much has changed, except for dirt cheap apoc pages, teles, and flawless shards.
If you do not spend RL money, than things are a little tougher, since gold, at the moment, is at 500k. A tad on the high side, which means you will have to grind a little more to be able to get the stuff you used to be able to get before.
Prices on gold should come down a little after the packs are gone and until the next sale event.Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.0 -
Is not to bad, 500K+ for 1 GOLD, prices in AH are relative, Molds, TT matts and some stuff are cheap. Fashion is more expensive b:surrender, i hope this change, i need new fashion b:cute

Also, you gotta consider alot of players have quit due to anniv pack sale and that cash shoppers are making a bundle off high gold price. Less server pop and most that used to hunt TT in order to make coins stopped for getting rich without any effort. Why go on a TT hunt for 500k when you can make 50M from packs?
Its not player greedy since its now what the game is about. The disruptive sales that give the players everything in game without any effort, which is entirely the company's fault. Dont blame the players for playing exactly like PWE is suggesting us to. The 'hunt to buy better gear' way of playing, something that was supposed to be absolute in any decent MMO game, is now simply a little part of PW and mostly for the f2p players.
Dont expect this to be the end of it. PWI had the balls to come back with this idiotic anniv pack even after we complained and flamed for a month. Worst, they had the nerve to say we asked for it. Simply put, the company has no respect for the comunity. Prepare to see a december+january pack sale, if not a permanent addition to boutique.

Sorry my alarm rang becuase that is complete codswallop. You would sell it for the price everyone does, because if you do sell it for 5mil you are an idiot- .....oh wait, nvm, it's Zoe.
We can use supply and demand in the real world, For example, not long ago, petrol (you guys call it gasoline) was sky high due to there not being enough of it. Ring any bells? Something that isn't very common costing a lot of money.....

how can you be so greedy? you said that gold should be what... like 100k each. and since the anni pack that got you the tome should cost 100k gold. you should be selling the tome for 100k no more and no less.

There is one thing that does kinda bugs me in all "supply and demand" story.
I could actually understand mold,CS stuff and some TT mats,but its ridiculous to see common mats such as mid. mats being overpriced for god knows how long(3k-4k i would understand but seeing prices rising for insanely of 5k and higher) and those are not hard to obtain if you know where to look at...so what gives about this ridiculous prices of mid. mats and rest of similar mats.
(as far as i know about rules of "supply and demand" its mostly valued by rarity of the merchandise instead of whim of a "merchant").[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

farmed mats spawn only once every 10 minutes, so you do have a maximun amount of mats you can possible get in a day. So, there is a possibility that demand does surpass the supply.
However you have to take into account the lazyness factor as well. Some people would rather pay someone 5k than to have to go farm the mats themselves. And since you can only afford to be that lazy if you are also rich, the difference between 3k and 5k is really not hat much.
Keep in mind that even mid level player can easely farm 1k per minute, so they are only looking at 5 minutes worth of grinding to get that mat "right now" instead of having to go out and farm it themselves.Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. The problem is players get lazy and buy from those overpricing wine sellers near bh npc instead of walking 10 feet and buying mats cheaper near wine npc and make it themselves....or even farm a considerable amount of mats for his/her wine share.
Of course, you gotta look at it from other angles. PWE has injected hundreds of millions of coins into the game. Theres alot more cash flowing around. People can 'afford to be lazy'. Its a slap in the face for the little guy, yes, but unless PWE lowers their greed and pay attention more to the game, have a coin sink, money wasting event (not talking about sale) or whatever, we'll just have to accept the new game status and adjust.
Besides, i remember making a thread some time ago about an idea on how to lower mat prices. Nobody cared. Players dont care, why should PWE?PWI:

Also, Supply and Demand does exist. Hate to disagree w/you Zoe but, right now, this game as lost several of it's cash-shopers - the ones which used to supply the server w/cheap-gold. With less gold in the actual market: the price will rise: due to demand due to lack of supply.
Also, the need for Gold as grown greatly: with many 90+'s trying to refine their gear (even 80+'s) The market is saturated with extra coin (tons from the event) but, the gold is in little supply. Meaning, the people which are still supplying the gold. Can mark it as they see fit. If people are dumb-enough to stay paying 500k+ for gold, then so be it.
Who's the bigger ****? The person using RL Money to make IG money? Or the person using IG money to try and get RL money-items? No matter what, in this time: Everyone is coming out to be an ****, and playing into the whole supply and demand concept: foolishly.
Also, if you ever look @ the luck token trade and best luck tokens.

I think this could get worse, w/time - so just buckle-down. If it doesn't, be glad. It's just the way the game seems to be designed: Afterall - it is a cash-shop game. And the people spending RL money to make IG money... are making record profits.
