Hey PWI .

What about you make a Sex change scroll ? Or just add a feature at makeover scroll ? It cant be too expensive either. Like 1 m MAX
I think many people want to change sex maybe cuz they are a barb or bm but they are girls . The sex change scroll will only avaible to Clerics, BMs , Archers and wizzes cuz they are the only classes that u can be both male and female . And it should be avaible at NPCs.

If this idea is not makeable please reply why .

    I don't understand why you pointed out BM as a male only and then as a possible change. I think it would be an ok idea EXCEPT that you may have purchased clothes from the boutique that are male/female ONLY and that would make you lose Gold.

    Now while this would make them a couple extra bucks from selling more CS stuff, think of all of the complaints people will make "because they were tricked into changing their sex and now can't use their CS items." I know this is a dumb argument, but just surf the old forums and you'll see things like,

    "I intentionally bypassed the chat filter on worldchat and got banned for it, but why'd I get banned for it?"

    Dumb comments come from people and complaints come from apparently nowhere. I hope this helps and that you will see my point. b:victory

    I think the biggest reason for not implementing this would be the legion of Venomancers and Barbarians that would complain nonstop about their inability to take advantage of them.

    Also, I could be wrong, but I thought a GM had stated in the past that nothing like this would be available.

    Actually it would be hilarious if it did change the sex of Veno's and Barb's. A veno that uses it became a barb! b:laugh

    I'd agree with this post. It's likely among the top contenders of reasons for why this probably won't ever be implemented.

    This would be reason number 2.

    Reason number 3 would be that it serves no useful purpose towards improving the game. If you wanted a male char, you should have rolled a male char. The only people forced to play a certain gender are untamed characters, and your sec change scrolls wouldn't include them anyway.

    The main (if not the only) reason why this may never get implemented any time soon is because of all the technical complications. Otherwise they may refuse with excuses such as "it kills the ancient chinese mythology theme".

    Quite a few MMO's actually have this item, and for the record it has done perfectly well with very few complaints.

    They would not do that because it will make their Marrige policy difficult, instead of spend $100 to make a same sex marrige with fake but close names, people will abuse it and just make a male/female level it up get married then change it's gender then they will have a same sex marrige. PW is not supportive of the idea.b:shutup

    I think there's a lot of invalid arguments in this thread. I can only see positive things happening to implementing sex change scrolls. I am also someone that would like to change sex. I made a female char because well im kind of a girly man! But after playing a while I would have liked to of had a male char with a nice white beard and play a typical old wizard.

    If they go ahead and code this I think it would be rather easy to make the scrolls unusable if you are currently married or a veno/barb. They can clearly state in the cashshop that female/male cashshop clothing would be unusable after the change to prevent that argument. And again it wouldn't be that much more difficult to code that you can't be wearing any cashshop clothing before the change. For the "no benefit" argument... how could it not be? It's one more item that could be used for cash flow to keep the game running and i'm sure a lot of people would use it. And lastly for the argument of crying venos and barbs... why would that matter when they have EVERY vocation crying about the reintroduction of the anniversary packs as well as many many other things. ^^

    I was originally against this idea, mainly because of the marriages, but this makes sense. Gonff is right, it could be coded not to be used under certain conditions, and said in the description the conditions.

    Wouldn't be able to use it, obviously. If there's no other sex to change to, how would you use a sex change scroll?

    The idea of untamed QQing because they can't use it is similar to the idea of a female QQing because they can't wear Hemsley...
