Ok so I have played the game now for awhile and have a few different characters as most of you do but.. I am puzzled cause I thought after 20? That everyone had the same quest right?.. Well...

Here is the problem...These are MY characters....

65 Wizard (Ran outta quest @ 63) Never once ran out of quest until 63

44 Veno (Ran out of quest @ 44) Never ran out until level 44

38 BladeMaster (Still have 22 Quest in the "Find Quest" Screen)

36 Archer - Ran out of quest @ 36... What the heck?

I just dont get it..

Am I missing something? Or is something wrong? cause when I hit 34 on archer I only got 3 quest, @ 35 I got 2 quest and @ 36 I got 3 quest 2 of which were just talkin to NPC and got 6000xp ea....

Perhaps someone can tell me what I am doing wrong? b:angry

EDIT: I have only died 3 times since I started this game so that is not the reason...

You are playing each character differently. Perhaps you spent more time playing the newer characters, along with experience finished all the quests faster. The less you play per day, the longer your quests will last you. This is due to exp from CS and BH. On average, grinding starts at level 38-40.

The dailies do make a large difference (I believe CS alone was ~20% at lower levels).

You said nothing to aid in my question.... Of course NOT PLAYING THE GAME would stretch the quest out... I simply want to know why the quest run out a different levels....

I am not complaining about not having quest. I don't need to profit seeing as I have plenty of Coins to last me well long enough... If your no help to the topic why bother posting? b:surrender

i know you dont get many quests after 60, so i have like 20 built up for me to do =]

and you never have enough coins... unless you have like 300mill.

Even 300M is not enough. I would say a billion+ would be enough hopefully.

I answered your question. you just didnt read my response. Quests are all the same (well 99.95% of em) for all characters. You just played more, finsihed quests faster, and did less CS/BH on some characters.

You get the quests per level. So when you hit another lvl, you get a couple of quests for that specific lvl.

He did answer your question (i put it in red). Just to explain it further, if 1 character climbs 10 levels in 20 days, thats also XP from 20 BHs & CSs thrown in there. This is typically a 1st character that would level this slow. Now a much later character, very accustomed to questing & levelling rushes through much faster, & climbs 10 levels in 5 days. Thats only 5 days worth of BH & CS experience thrown in there. As such, the earlier character would have 15 MORE days worth of experience from dailies, pushing him probably a couple levels higher from the same amount of quests. Then being several levels higher, without doing additional quests, means more new quests have stockpiled without running out of quests.

You had your question answered here and pretty much ignored it.

You rush up to level 50 in 2 days, you're only getting 2 days worth of dailies in exp and you eat through quests quickly filling in the rest required to hit 50. You reach level 50 in a week and you have a full week of dailies which gives a lot of exp and you end up with more quests.

You don't "run out at different levels" You just played at different speeds.

Yeah, I have this character and a few others on Dreamweaver, and I haven't run out of quests yet, even on this one. It all depends on how much you do BH and CS (which I never do anymore...too much money >.<)

I also believe that lower lvl unaccepted quests fall off the "find a quest" dialog after you reach a certain higher number of lvls, is that right? However they are still available from the quest giver, so there may be quests you missed and that no longer show but that can still be done. At least that's my experience, someone tell me if I'm wrong :-)

This used to be true under the old quest finder (where you had to keep clicking it & it would only give you 1 NPC at a time). The current quest finder with the long list, shows any and all "normal" type quests from any level. Yes there's a few hidden quests that dont show, but they didnt show for the old finder & thats a bug (or intended) thats independant of level.

yes this is true. Even with the new find quest option. My barb levelled mostly on cs and bh because i mainly played my veno. The result was, I had to stumble up the slyther/mantavip chain of quests because Priest of tusktown didnt show up in my find quest anymore.

I've still ran into the problem, that if you have 20 or so quests in your list that you have to trash a quest to get more from the find quest menu. And I believe that even the find quest menu has a limit on how many quests it can hold also.

Hmm, I am certain there are quests I skipped that no longer show up in the quest finder, is there official confirmation of this behaviour or is it a bug maybe? And yes, I am aware of the quests that don't show in the finder, I have done a few myself.

the higher the level, the fewer the quests become, and the less exp/sp they give you. once you hit the 60s (at least as a veno), things get really bad, and that is when you have to start grinding as a daily job. when you hit 70, then you get WQ, and that helps
