Pick Axe from the merchant, it's just not on the first tab.
Genies can get xp just by being with you, or you can feed them your XP or your Spirit. To learn more skills after it levels up, talk to the same person you got it from.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

With your Genie equipped, right click on the picture of it, then "EXP infuse". Select "Infuse with Spirit" and then use "Infuse" or "Level Up", once done hit "Done" then close out of everything.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

ignore the person above. giving spirit to your genie is bad practice. you need all of it you can get in order to learn your own skills, and you'll be short of it most of the game until you get to be high level. why would you want to intentionally set yourself back even further? best is to either leave the genie alone and let it level naturally (about 1 genie level per 3 player levels) or give it some of your exp points. I know this may slow your own leveling down a bit, but has the added benefit of netting more spirit points per level from grinding more - thus putting you "ahead" of the game as far as spirit points for learning your own skills.
now.. later on down the road once youve got all your important skills maxed out (or close enough to it) you can switch from feeding exp to your genie, and start feeding it sp instead, so you'll be able to get out of those higher end levels faster (the 60's drag by with only 2/3 quests per level).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Early in the game giving Exp to your genie is fine. Later on you need to figure out how you want to balance it. Either way you're sacrificing something, either XP or SP and need to decide how you want to 'spend' it.
A lot of times what I do right after I level is to go get whatever skills I can with the spirit I have, and then use the bit of XP over my level up combined with my left over spirit to level my genie.
However, to each their own and it's up to you how you want to do it.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

IGNORE BAALBAK
Exp is way more important then spirit.
Best way is just equip your genie and let it get exp from being with you.
Also LOL not enough spirit? xD I leveled mine to level 40 and I still have plenty of spirit (mainly because i'm poor as heck so me don't recommend doing it).
Either way best way is not to feed the genie.
Since this is your main character you should level as fast as possible.darthpanda16: Firefox crashed on me. Aryannamage: I don't think I am a GM that would be new.
Hawk:Do this. closing thread
