The price of gold reflects the supply of coin in the game vs. the supply of gold in the AH. Unfortunately, the event injected a huge amount of coin into the game (2 best luck tokens = 10 million coin created out of thin air). So there's a lot more coin in the economy now than before the event. Consequently, the price of gold and CS items is going to be inflated by a corresponding amount. I seriously doubt gold prices will drop to pre-event levels.

Shortly after the AP's were removed from the CS, the gold prices on DW dropped dramatically (from about 430K - 500K to about 200K - 280K).

Buying prices that is. Selling prices were about the same but they should very soon follow.

Do you want to hear truth? You will not like it, but for me as a working guy is much better, when the gold price is high. Because I don't have time for few hours of grinding. For me is better to sell 10$ real money for 4M coins and buy what I need. I know for you is high price of gold devastating, but for me is blessing. b:thanks

Just acept it!! Chest of coins set the minum value of 1 gold to 200k End of story. Devs are setting the gold value since the introduction of that DAMN chest so pretty much we can't do sht to get gold to a lower price.

Im not forgetting anything the chest of coins are a mute point if their price is anything above free unless u do the quests/instances to get them yourself buying them plus buying gold for a hammer is just...well stupid. And NO I wont accept an economy in the state it is in now an if u are willing to accept it then continue to pay 300+k per gold while i just bought 3 gold for the same price u just paid for your 1...and BTW I did just buy 3 gold for 100k per so there is still hope for gold trading

And if gold will go down, the GM make some event and for example give to boutique warsoul weapons or something other and this will again rise the price of gold. Because for GM is good when the gold is high. Think. If gold is low, you can just grinding and you don't have to spent real money. So for them low price of gold is unprofitable.

you get brownie points for trying, but your logic fails

the gold sold in AH has to be bought. it doesn't just magically appear for free. each and every single gold being traded in AH has been purchased with real money from the real world

also, high gold prices means less gold is needed to make the same amount of ingame coin, therefore less gold needs to be purchased with real life money. in turn, that means less money is made by PWE from gold sales

Here's where your wrong :the ppl who buy gold with real money don't need many coins at all , they can get mostly everything they need from the boutique . And even if it's in-game coin they are after some of them will charge even more during an event such as anni packs to be able to make as much profit as they can while gold is high .


And LOL , with chests of coins in the game ppl can still say that the devs got no control over the economy ? I don't mean to be rude but it really is silly to think like that .

As sad and true this might be , I can't help but laugh sometimes .
