    Despite the poster's post being irrelevant, they have a indirect point. Maybe someone should post/make a guide thread on how to color using a digital picture editing program.
    You can't expect people to start coloring when they don't have/never had/ or will ever have knowledge on coloring with a digital picture editing program.

    Coloring images truly is an artform, not to mention therapeutic. To get all the highlights, mid-tones and shadows in an image... to give it dimension... takes a lot of skill.

    I agree with Kyna, that I don't take well to sarcasm of the arts. At least when it's ill-timed and seems more ignorant, than intelligent ribbing.

    Posting some tips on digital coloring would be really appreciated, especially for those of us who haven't taken a stab at it before.

    But I'm gonna give that image you posted a shot Kyna, and see how I do ungoverned. LOL

    A tutorial would be a good bit of work but I wouldn't be completely opposed. The only problem with that is that I do realize not everyone has a tablet and that's what I'm used to. So I'll um.. work one up and post it I suppose

    No I don't have any. I can't wait to see what it looks like. ^__^

    Also the ironic thing is that many artists have actually said to me, " A real artist doesn't just color in between the lines." b:laugh

    Plus one doesn't have to color these digitally they can always print it out and color it. I would give an example but my printer is out of ink. = (

    Been awhile since I colored anything...so be gentle if you crit. X'DD

    Oh and note: the background image I took from the PW-I fansite kit thing whatever you want to call it. o.o

    I have been trying to color the image myself, but wow it's more difficult than I imagined. I may have to take a week or two to finish it... if I don't give up before then! ROFL

    Uhm, although you did colour it yourself, wouldn't you have asked permission from the lineartist to use it as a signature? o.O

    I was also thinking along these lines before I got home today, and I wanted people to take note that if you're planning to use any of the images in here (for sigs, websistes ect); you need to first ask the contributing artist's permission. Otherwise this can be seen as theft. I don't want to ruin anyone's parade here but please by courteous and considerate. Note that the final coloured images in here are created by 2 artists- you need to ask both.

    I'm not an extpert colourer, but you will find most people here use programs like photoshop, opencanvas?, gimp ect to create the nice effects you see. There's many ways to colour, it dosen't have to be digital either, you can always use pencils :-P

    Uhm, I was off for a good month and i'm trying to catch up to where I was. I was supposed to be doing a comic and finnishing off an archer and blademaster for this thread. Anyway, while I get to that; here's a lineart of a character concept for my comic. She's a caracal ( a wild cat, google search it :P) venomancer (I know you cant get them in-game >.>) and she's also apart of the "Veno Mafia". That's what that tatoo is on her bewb which you probably can't read ,_,
