What Weapon to Use?

I am almost level 70 and I have four/five choices of weapons infront of me. They have almost the same amount of attack, but differ in terms of their additional stats. I am very confused about which one to take, and would love to get an advice.b:laugh
The weapons I am saying are:
1. Sakyamuni's Light
2. Ashura's Sign
3. Grief's Breath
4. Alacantha Wand
5. Fine Pataka of Bodhi +5 which has more or less similar attack to these 4
My stats are as follows( For better suggestion)
Magic-217
Vit-22
Strength-78
Dex-88
Physical Defense is almost 1400.
Which weapon should I choose amongst these? Any suggestions and explanations would be very welcomeb:thanks

I assume you're a Light Veno and wish to have better attack/pet heal rather than more HP or phys defense. So +magic damage and +magic are the best opts for you.
Ashura's Sign. If you like good dmg spikes this 1 suits you best.
Acalanatha Wand. If you prefer stable pet heal choose this 1.I'm King_Solomon, from Heaven's Tear server.

well... if you ever plan to get to using Sinrabansho (the TT 100 arcane weapon) youll have to make (or buy) 4 TT 60, TT 70, TT 80, and TT 99 weapons - 2 of which are listed in your list. If you plan to farm the mats yourself rather than buying them, I'd go with either Ashura's Sign or Griefs's Breath.
Sinranbanso:

Souledge: Mirage
Souledge: Garuda's Flame Wing
Souledge: Broken Dream
Souledge: Scaredevil

Yeah... I'm thinking she will have more than enough time to consider that at a later time.
I personally went with Sakyamuni's, but that's because I changed to Heavy at 74.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
If you're a light veno, either Ashura's or Grief's is best for you, imo.
Both provide more damage spike than a wand, which you need since your magic is lower than arcane (pure or light vit, either). Pick Ashura's if you want even more spike damage, pick Grief's if you want defense in HP.
If you're arcane, Sak. Light is great due to the P.def modifer. However both Ashura's and Grief's are also good. Again, Ashura if you want spike damage (esp. if you are a vit arcane) or Grief's if you want defense in HP (esp. if you are pure arcane).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Id go for Ashura's.I was early taught to work as well as play,
My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.0 -
I picked Sakyamuni's Light because it had a higher damage output than all the TT70 weapons. I did make both Grief's Breath and Ashura's Sign. I later made Endless Ambiguity which is currently on loan to a friend until they get their TT80 weapon. The only 2 things that interested me were 1. damage output and 2. -% channeling. The Glaive path settled that for me. I also like to carry two to three weapons on me anyway because I don't keep up with the repair on my weapon and if it gets too low before I can repair, I like to have a weapon to switch out just to keep my damage/heal decent.0
-
As a lvl70 arcane veno I picked Sakyamuni's light, mostly for it's physical defense bonus and decent magic attack, but Grief's Breath is also a viable choice (cheap and increases survivability, 10-11 more vit) since you're light armor build.Forum trolls are **** beings who find pleasure in picking on other forum users, trying to bully them. Probably kids or antisocial people, feeding themselves with burgers, chips and soda, 23/7 in front of a PC, they are trying to release their frustration through moronic posts. My advice for them is:get a life (girlfriend, job, pet) or visit a **** site to release your anger and hate due to lack of parental love in childhood. Have fun!0

ok so Ashura's Sign seems a viable choice for meb:chuckle
But it seems no one is selling one at the moment at Lost City serverb:cry
Can any veno at this server help me get oneb:sad0 -
The Mats are pretty easy to get. At your level, grab another veno, have people open up TT for you (squad mode of course) and go solo dimentora--not a difficult boss, just craptons of HP. Remember to lure him off the platform! The mysterious skulls are a joke, 1k each, and if you don't already have the ancient arbor souledge, you can buy a cheap one for like 200k.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

I would assume this same line of thinking would/should apply to the other Arcane classes as well, Yes?
Just curious, so as to help decide what and how I should approch this to provide a weapon to my Wizard. I hand-down all the stuff from my Veno to my Wizard character.

Nephandus - Arcane Wizard

Veno benefits more from the pdef and phys atk adds by using fox.Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.0

I've still got most of my weapons and do plan to hand them down to the other squishy classes that I have leveling up. Mostly it's preference. We can tell you everything about all the weapons we used and how much better we believe them to be compared to other weapons, but it should all be based on what you're looking for to make your character even better in game.0

Not necessarily. At level 84, you might think you need to invest a lot into a water pet. Before you hit the magic arrays in OHT, you may feel a Scorpion is relatively useless, etc etc. Advice should just have a lot of 'if's in it.Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.0 -

tweakz, shut up. Pets are not equal to weapons. Pets were never part of this discussion. I don't own a water pet. I go without or I get a friend who needs the same quest to do it with me. Water pets are a waste of time. The pets you get in the low levels aren't worth it.
Back on track, I had all three L70 weapons at one point and cycled through them as needed. Either because the one I was using was breaking or because I needed more VIT to survive an AoE boss. I did enough TT runs to get the mats for all of them. If you have a herc, you can farm some of the TTs unsubbed to get mats you need.0 -

It really depends on what you're aiming for. Looks like you're an LA build and are aiming for survivability, so if that's the goal, then Grief's for the extra VIT. If you wanna dump far more into mag for mag attacks and get a decent attacking+channeling weap at 80 then keep Griefs for the 70s and turn it into Endless at 80. Personally I would NOT go with #'s 4 and 5.0

The wand is only good if you're going for the Gold and that's expensive if you're buying and people will only complain if you ask just for that mat.0
-
Thanks for all of your inputs. Now can we discuss this further? I have seen that there's a similar thing while one gets to level 80.
Which should be the best weapon to choose for a LA class?
I am inclined towards Alacantha Wand: Sunflame which has good added stats which makes up for its comparatively low attack. The thing I like is that it has a short, and stable high range of attack compared to, say, Patakas or even some swords.
Another option is Endless Ambiguity or Yaksha.
The Glaive at level 79, or the Glaive at 80.
Please feel free to post your advices and experiences with this one.
Btw, does anyone has a Mystro Caster?b:thanks Just askingb:chuckle0 -
It's a Warsoul weapon. Those are incredibly hard to get. Even if it is easier to acquire pieces now, it's going to cost a pretty penny.
I got the TT80 Glaive, Wheel of Life, because my end goal is Fate Denial: Godspeed.
I also have Endless Ambiguity, which I have loaned to a friend until they can get the TT80 weapon they want (the glaive). I'd like to get and try all of the TT90 weapons. I just need the mats for them. Endless is a good weapon, but I say that only because I like the -% channeling on it. Many people like its 90, Wraith Conquerer.
Yaksa I haven't made yet and probably won't for a while.
Patakas do seem to have the highest range, wands are more "stable," swords also provide that "stable" range too (but I think they run a little higher), and glaives don't look cool till the higher levels and I think their damage range is just under that of the pataka. Patakas look pretty cool though.0 -

Even if they do release the event items which yield it, it's a 0.01% - 0.03% from those packs. About as rare as a goldmane lion mount. I wouldn't make any plans based on getting that sword.0
