    Gold Foil is a random drop you get from doing world quest. The symbol in the inventory looks like an Ultimate Substance, so people are tricked into buying it without reading what it is first.

    The items that are collected though world quest can be NPC'd as PWI have not implemented the housing system into the game yet, and I don't think they will ever will.

    You can get from the nanmuwood chest. 1 at timberfield, 1 at wellspring village, 1 at village of the brutes. You get a piece of low lvl equipment, or gold foil, which before a few updates ago, was called N/A

    The funny thing is, I remember trying to open those chests when I was much lower level and it always said that I did not have the right equipment to open them. [Quite the disappointment after battling the mobs that surrounded the chests; I did this around lvl 20 or so]. Recently I was revisiting the chests and tried it again, and this time I did get the gold foil.

    I just got one of those Gold Foil yesterday from the chest over by Wellspring Village...... :)

    I'm not really sure it has a real purpose... but it's a quick way to make 1k off of npc tho... maybe it's part of a quest somewhere down the line... but even then you shouldn't be able to get into the chests unless you had activated the quest. maybe it's just one of those things we can lump to gether with other questions... like "Who killed Kennedy?" or "Where do babies come from?" those kinds of questions that people who know the answer don't want to tell it... and most can't tell it cuz they don't know. I'm pretty sure most people here know where babies come from... if not... get off the game and get some!!!... haha... jk.

    have gold foil? wondering what its for? sell to an npc for 1,000 coin (it's completely useless)
