    How does a whip work as weapon for an Archer? .__.

    He/She...throws it at his/her opponent hopin the person gets entrangled with it and falls down?

    Or...

    Is it a 20m long whip?

    Hope it is for melee classes, I remember when I played Runescape and had a whip, which was awesome. (You played Runescape? OMG fail! Yeah, I know. Hey, it's addictive.)

    if the physical attack is so low, i dont really get what it would be for. unless it would be like a defense to knock you enemy back so you can get more distance between you and the enemy b:question

    either way, if the whip does come out, it will probably be more enhanced (hopefully b:beg) so it would be useful to all classes physical or magical cause whip=win b:victory lol

    notice "elf-level" and the str/dex req and the lack of magic attack? this probably means that its a archer or light cleric wep, BUT!!! probably an archer only cuz clerics are pointless without their heal/magic attacks, its how they survive and without mattack they cant.

    the low pattack dosnt mean much cuz we duno if theres any skills or what the interval for it is but its comparable to fists, which most archers use... =__=

    ...mayhap this will be some sort of melee weapon archers can use up to their level using a dex build. like, i can probably use fists if mobs get close, but it'd be fists 2 levels below what i can use with a bow.

    Elf level is Genie level for PWI. Since the expansion, every armor/weapon peace has that entry, but no value...

    Just curious if a GM can chime in or something. Are we going to get whips or is that something just the other versions gets? I notice the PWDatabase shows them fully for two versions and partly for ours. Also any insight as to who are using them and/or for what reasons?

    This isn't ruinedscape. We don't need abysmal whips.

    Whips would make much more sense as a magic weapon. They're technicaly not even a weapon at all, they're a method of torture not intended to cause the same kind of harm to a person that a sword or a hammer does.

    I feel that the whips would be a basic attack for the magic class chars. So that if something get too close they could switch to that to attack and have some knock back abilities with them. but does anyone know where the whips are?
