How to be a good Venomancer (In dungeons)

Okay, I can't remember if I posted in here already, but regardless -

Thanks to all for this information. I know I used to always buff the clerics, and now I know better, and they're usually grateful for me knowing not to buff them. =3

A good practice is, when your cleric starts BB and the boss fight starts, is to alternate sparks between him and the barb.

So maybe right away (assuming full spark)
1. spark the cleric.
2. Build spark for 60 seconds (fox form bashing if possible)
3. spark the barb
4. Build spark for 60 seconds (fox form bashing if possible)

repeat.

Then the cleric will have 2 full sparks to start BB again if interrupted by aoe or if you're fighting Wurlord and he's the BB cleric xD.

But past 2 sparks, there's no reason to pass more to the BB cleric, of course then devote your spark to your barb.

Also, during long boss fights: remember to re-bramble your tank! It wears off.

I generally refresh it every time I pass spark... that way if I forget to do it once or twice, my tank isn't going to lose the buff entirely.

Also, in multiple veno parties do not amp damage until the other veno's amp damage has worn off, it doesn't add to the timer it resets it, wasting whatever was left on the original cast.

Failed venos are everywhere now! I teamed with venos that had no idea they can lend a hand, or they can purge.

Example: I established in a FCC while teaming with another veno that I lend hands on cleric, she lends on barb and I tank while she would buff/debuff mainly and DD. I have always amped, she never did, she only kept brambling barb, even when BM tanked the debuff boss. Plus, she never sparked barb, lucky that barb was good at chi management.
But when we came at holeen, my herc was tanking and then boss buffed himself, I told her twice to purge, and then sin said he has to go shoot himself and just left squad. True it was overreaction, but still... I got fox form and purged. All this took like 10 seconds. Everyone was angry and even though usually I make a very good impression on a team, just cause that veno was such a fail, I got a part of blame, simply by being veno. And I don't blame them. Cleric still liked me cause I duelled him to purge his bramble:P

Venomancers are team players, get that already!

Having a venomancer and not using it is as useless as not DD-ing with a sin/bm/wizz/psy or not healing as a cleric.
Also, a veno can and will BE the difference between a successful squad or a fail squad.

Why bring this back to life and this does not need a sticky as there are enough in this forum?That would give the Veno forum 8 stickies more than Gen. Discussion or any other class forum.

Agreed. Especially since this thread does apply to all venos and not a subset as most of the other ones tend to.
