    Surely tanking is different from solo tanking? I mean, a barb might not be able to solo tank a lot of stuff, does that mean they're not really tanking?

    Now you people are just being stupid. The topic is about venos. Real tanking is what I did yesterday in 3-2. We had 3 venos with hercs, tanking TT 3-2 squad mode. No one to cancel the skills, we just took the hits and swapped out the tank when one of our hercs died. We got every boss down other than Twilight Minister and Twilight Emperor.

    I almost strangled a fellow Veno when we were BH'ing together with some other people. She wanted her Magmite and my Wolfling (yes, I still use my starter pet) to tank 3 exploding mobs in the fb39 cave. I wanted use to pull at LEAST one of them away from the pack, but no, she insisted, so we sent our pets to their doom. I think at least one of our party members died, as well. Idiot. Needs to learn how to pull. >_>

    Your situation is a bit extreme. Preventing other classes from helping to lower damage output on a herc to keep it alive should be no different than them lowering damage output on a boss so a barb can tank it. There's a difference between tanking something solo and tanking something in a squad, however even with your definition which you seem to wrote simply to try and prevent someone from saying they can do it, guess what? You can do it.

    Not something -I- Wanna hear. Especially in a TT or FB... Veno w/o Amp/Purge = Fail.

    Hell with my build if I didn't have those two skills I wouldn't even get to TW! (doesn't use caster form in TWs except a few occasions where distanced attack is needed)

    Heh. Try running an RB without Fox Skills... Without Amp, and Purge... Those bosses are a pain in the ****. Also, something I realllllly love about Fox. Fox AoEs cooldown MUCH faster than our caster counterparts. Which means that when I start seeing "Wood Immunity", instead of panicking, I start firing AoEs faster than I was in caster form. It causes less damage, of course, but a little damage on a lot of mobs will always be better than no damage on all mobs, right?

    I playi n Fox form most of the time in Instances... ask my friends. Becuase My DPS during a Red Ball is freakin madness during a spark... and I build chi so fast I can pop out chi the tank pop back in and keep right on DDing and sparking. In caster I have to stop my own Sparking to make sure the Tank has Sparks. >.> I HATE being told not ot use Fox Form. Just because MOST venos haven't figured out the benefits to Maxing those skills. A good many of them have amazing benefits. Not to mention Myriad Rainbow Fox Form = THE MOST AWESOME TW SKILL EVER XDb:dirty

    ? my herc doesnt have bash and im the best HH tanker you can dream of so your making no sense there... quit saying u need bash...pet stun works fine

    Oh bosses, the skill doesn't matter THAT much because most of what's holding aggro is the damage and the reflect. However on normal mobs, bash holds aggro better than most other skills.
