    as a Demon Cleric u got much faster Channeling Speed with the Eruption. Along with my -chan Equip i can cast Wield Thunder with the Speed of Plume Shot. The Spell will be shot without showing the bolts going UP
    But the skill ingame just says Increase in Attack Rate...

    I ment channelling Zoe, just been looking into barb demon/sage.

    I think its same for sage too? If its that special spark you get at the same time you get demon/sage, I see a significant channeling reduction.

    Nah. Demon spark gives attack bonuses, sage gives defence (-25% damage reduction or something).

    Demon is indeed -25% channel AND Attack rate. So you can use spells or swing your sword if you wish. Sage is 25% dmg reduction.

    Q.Q This choice is so damn hard! Can't I just stay half evil and halfgood? xD

    Okay, seriously. I read through two threads to that topic now and I'm not a bit more sure what path to choose. I got plenty of time in levels left til I have to make my final decision but I really would like some advice from higher clerics here.

    As you see, carebear server (I prefer to kill things that complain after :P) . I don't PK at all but I wouldnt say I never will. So Id like to keep the option of being a acceptable pker.
    I read that many clerics go Demon but that Sage gives more stable damage. Can anyone tell me which skill books are easier to get, heaven or hell ones?

    And yes, im hybrid build, not full magic. I currently got 89Vit and 237Magic. means I end up with 2.5k hp and 6.1k mp. I prefer to be backup healer in FBs, TTs and all. Primary cleric isnt my thing, Im better at healing the party members that need it and attack in between. Plus I got some hp cause I wanna be able to solo mobs and not have to rely on help all the time. Love to fight :P

    So in conclusion. Whats the best path for a person that wants to keep their teammates alive but is able to throw some strong attacks in too?

    ....You cant eat your 1 piece of pie and save it too. You give up one good for the other good.
    Since demon spark has +attck...if you think you can survive for a while but have low attck try demon. If you wanna live long, try sage.

    thats got to be magic attack not physical, physical does nothing for us (unless your crazy and did a heavy cleric and use a physical weapon in which case i dont think u will make it to sage/demon)

    If you are into PvP, Demon is the way to go.

    I agree with all Mysticlifex's reasons for going demon. Sage is slightly better defence but not hugely. The 10 seconds defence/attack buff bonus i dont think you will have chance to use in pvp. The attack bonus is usefull in DD and support whereas the defence isnt as much. The 85% damage reduction for plume shield compared to the normal 80% isnt really a huge difference either. 10% more hp with sage heals- to standard heals but if you work it out, when using the 10second attack bonus buff your ironheart will give more HP than the 10% sage bonus.

    With all this said, who actually got the books to learn the sage/demon lv89/92 skills >.> cause aside from the sparks they dont come automatically

    That is very true.

    I personally have all of the 89 Sage skills (only 3 avaliable) and am currently working on level 92 skills.

    However, people also have to keep in mind that with the book comes 1 million in coins and 1 million in spirit to learn each skill.

    In this version you can only get 3 skills at level 89. The rest are level 92 and 99.

    Yes, for Sage at level 89 you can get --> Plume Shot, Cyclone and Blessing of the Purehearted (which is not used too much).

    Also, for the 92 skills, if it does not drop, you have to make it with 30 pages of Fate which you can get one a day at 9x from finishing the Cube of Fate. Or if you finish the Advanced Cube you can get a Creit Card and you need 10 to make the book.

    As far as 99 skills go many are extemely rare and hard to get, especially for Hell skills!! Like Hell Tempest on level 99 on LC, IF found, can run around 20 million or more.

    I'm going demon. I think the 3 second channel for res alone makes Demon worth it. Not to mention i prefer the Demon add on for almost every skill.

    it all depends what u want from your cleric.
    demon dose give abit more mag hit, and sage gives more range.
    if u wana be more helpfull for bh/squads/fb, then u go sage (sage ih and revive = <3)
    thow demon will give u more independency, abit higher attack.

    No, it's not.

    Chromatic Healing Beam - Sage version extends area of effect by 5 meters
    Razor Feathers - Sage version extends area of effect radius by 2 meters

    There are no demon skills that increase range.
