Your statement about Clerics outdamage DD classes is a bit wrong. But you can try and play that way if you like.

Also I would never rez someone who states that its my job. Why would I? I have lvl50 cleric and I randomly buff sometimes as well as rez when my friends needs it, but when I listen to something "Its your job". OK, everyone here probably have cleric as alt, so acording to panda bear we all must relog to go rez, coz I have cleric and its my job.

As an archer, I'm uber squishy and lately slow internet so I've come to rely on clerics more for ressing. I only ask [and thank] nicely a local cleric and if they refuse, it's all good. I don't even like clerics in guild offering to res me if they are more than 3secs away. I'd rather go to town than have them waste their time flying out.

Clerics are probably the most helpful class out there...as an archer my buffs aren't that useful to anyone but myself. My goal is to protect the cleric and anyone else who aggros something they can't handle. I've had a certain cleric (she knows who she is!) basically res my butt, and solo more bosses for free than I can count...still slowly trying to repay her!

I also make sure the cleric and the tank get a little more in HH runs. All I use is arrows if I do my job right and once I get that cost back, I'm golden.

Btw, I don't use GAs simply because I'm on a pvp server so I'd be losing lots of dolls a day just to random 80+ pkers sweeping the grinding grounds

if you think we should go about and rez everyone that asks for it then your a noob and should uninstall.

1. if u get rezed be thankful the cleric happened to feel like being nice.
2. if u get mad for not getting a rez carry dolls and QQ in the corner
3. dont yell at us if we fly by you were a busy class to not everyone gets a rez 100% of the time

personally if ur not in my faction or on my friends list i wont rez you even if im flying around bored

as for the cleric out DD'ing the DD classes our nuke damage is massive but we are limited to wield thunder where as mages have a wide array of nukes, archers are great DD's only because of high crit and dps, in the end we may do a little less damage but it is still comparable to most mages and besides, we have our heals / buffs what other class can save a dungeon run another 30mins to run to the end boss from a party wipe.

PvP we can **** near any class with our physical / magic attacks if used right.

Yeah I think it's not a Cleric's job to rez a dead corpse, but it is mean not to.

I only got a reject once all I did was send them a message b:sad and they came back to rez me.

What's wrong with you guys? All the people I have met are so nice with me and always like to help. I just revived a little wolfie and he was so thankful. I like to offer all my services, so after I revive someone I won't let him go untill he's healed and fully buffed, so he offered to give me his buffiez too. I don't really understand why you people act, talk and scream like that. I always thought that people who run clerics do it because they like to help people, buff, heal and revive them. That's why I run my cleric. I'm not saying that we should be slaves, but come on what the hell? You're a cleric, deal with it. People expect something from you. If you don't like doing a clerics job then run a veno. no one will ask u for revives and buffs anymore.b:bye

STORY TIME!

once upon a time i made a cleric, lvled it up to 60 with lvl 1 rez. The people who expected me to rez i rezed them b:laugh. They got angry and i said "your fault for deing b"

Whats the moral of the story? FOR YOU NONE CLERICS GET GAs. CLERICS don't have to rez u if your stupid enough to not get a GA then don't expect to get rezed every time u die. Or i'll come and rez u b:chuckle.
SO for u guys talking about "jobs" well all non clerics jobs are to bring a GA. QQing about clerics not rezzing such lazyness.

Btw if it is their job to rez/heal/etc they don't have to rez/heal/etc ub:cute.

Its simple to understand

Clerics are designed to help and support others making them one of the most helpful classes.

So it is not imperative that every cleric has to be nice b:chuckle.

I agree that if your on your way somewhere and probly out of range you dont have time for a random rez but one day i died and right accross the swamp i could see a cleric i politly asked them to rez me they told me bummer buy some GA's next time!!! i was like uh ah how rude ....

so then i saw he /she was fighting a boss type thing so i pmed him /her again and asked for a rez when they are free and have time

and again what did i recieve .....

the cleric flew away leaving me there in his sight dead ...

I had to use my Last tele and ask for a cleric.

One was so nice came right away and sad thing was i nevr got to thanks him her they vanish befor i saw who they were... *AND I HAD NO MORE TELES*

I didn't mean that. What I meant was that barb (forgot who and really idc anymore) who said if they are only a minute away than you should go res them, then if it only takes 10 seconds to buff someone you should go do it.

Just skimmed the first page, and wanted to leave my words of support.

I'm not a Cleric, and never played one. If I die in the game: it's my fault, my problem, and I should deal with it. Clerics even with level 10 res can't recover all your XP from dying, but Guardian Angels can! If you can't afford a Guardian Angel: you could use the setback of your XP to balance your XP to coin ratio. If there's a party wipe in a dungeon and you drop an item: you have a good chance of losing it. Cleric's res isn't going to help you, but Gurdian Angels can.

Clerics are my favorite class to squad with. Just being a cleric is self sacrificing. It's self centered and rude to expect them to drop what they're doing to fix the problem you caused. The last people in this game I will help are the ones that beg for it. Pan handlers are never without.

Well if a guy dies near a cleric and he ASKS NICELY for a rez why not rez him?
Of course if the guy is far or is a jerk tell him to go take a hike.
Either way if u're not in the middle of something important and the guy is nearby u could rez them. I know i would be very gratefull if someone rezed me though i never asked for a rez, i just usually pack some GAs and Go to town

I run a barb as main and if some random guy asks me to tank a boss that is way far from where i am of course ill say hell no. But is lets say im passing near khewy and a guy asks me nicely to help him with khewy sure why not?

Clerics are not obligated to rez and Barbs are not obligated to tank bosses for some random guys. Of course if u rez a guy and a barb tanks a boss people will be gratefull (i know i would).

As long as people are not jerks or far away or ure not busy why not help out?
Thats my opinion i know some people might disagree but hey each person has its way of playing

I personally hate it when pple ask for a "friend rez", type in the coordinates, and their a 5min fly away (with my max wing speed) 4min to look for them, and 5 more min to fly back to where I was total near 15min.
I can say that Im a lazy cleric, a mean cleric that only rezzs friends, and a fail cleric. But I still say that the 15min of me spending my life is for me and my friends, not those pple. Unless im dead bored.

I'm not obligated to rez you. :(
