Fake U-Sub Cat-Shops.

As many people have probably duly noted: either from buying from these fake cat-shops, or: from browsing.

People have been trying to scam others by selling FAKE U-subs: Aka: Healing Orbs. I thought Scamming was illegal in-game.

Anyways, Guys: Be careful of what you purchase. It's sad to see - that miss-behaving/stealing/cheating/scamming all seem to be condoned in a game. Yet, it's to be expected. Human Nature - and the right/wrong will always be there.

    about time someone posted about this.. unless i've missed others.

    but i agree - alot of people got caught off-guard with this [not me :o] and with how the prices of U-Subs nowadays are [70-80K+] are, this shouldn't be something to be played with.

    Hopefully gets GMs to ACTUALLY change icons on every single item and stop being lazy about it, at least for the important items at least.

    Haha. I've seen multiple to be quite honest with you. Especially the person with the blemished shards, the last for 200k.

    Same here: I should of took the S.S. I saw of 1 U-sub shop selling the fake ones. And about 3 other people around it with "<-FakeUSubs" around it. xD.

    God... That made me weak.

    Why the HECK is it bannable to show their names? Right now the concept that the Game Managers would 'protect' these people is absolutley driving me crosseyed.

    Show their fricking names! IF they are willing to do this scam, then they are willing to scam TT and FB runs and every other scam in the book and i don't want them in a squad with my people.

    It is amazing to me that the game is condoning this behavior made possible ONLY because they were too lazy to make a different graphic.

    lol theres been like 3-4 threads about this already but like, it seems when one thing happens on one server, its happening on them all. like the "tabber gets 3* and molds" trend, and the CS stones scam, and now this.

    GMs already stated its albeit a decietful money making tactic, it is NOT illegal. all we can do as players of the community, is warn others of jerks like this.

    yeah i see what your saying..

    but as GMs they should at least log on paint and scribble a little drawing and such and replace it.. cause regardless of how many people you warn, they'lll still do it and catch other people who don't know about it yet [alot of people in these servers]

    GMs should really serve a noticeable warning or try to stop this - that is there job isn't it?

    hurts too when you buy something it says "Mirror" or just buys without asking "You sure you want to buy xxx"

    they cant just do that, itd have to be the dev teams job! theyre two different teams, and i dont think the dev team here can just edit sprites willy nilly

    On the forums, people can use alt accounts, LIKE THIS ONE. How would you like it if someone called you out as a scammer because they didn't like you, and backed it up with 3-4 sockpuppet alts agreeing?

    Reputations are easy to destroy, and hard to rebuild. The only way to protect innocent players from defamation is to have a blanket rule against naming names.

    Send in tickets, tell your friends, blacklist scammers, pk them and their guild, whatever you want to do. "In-game is fair game" and all that. But keep it off the forums. For everyone's sake.

    It's not illegal? That's odd. It states in ToS

    The reason behind that: is most likely - due to the fact, the main level mass is still in they're 4-/50's and they don't exactly need to do T.T. 3-1;3-2;3-3's and make the TT80/90/99 yet (Which all takes a massive amount of u-subs.) Which drives up the markets demand.

    maybe so low cause not so many 90s+ who need them badly [yet] for their 90 gear + ornaments [which require a heapload] - if not.. then lucky server =(..

    Problem is, we're not dealing with people who play by the same rules. There are ways to annoy the **** out of people, destroy their rep, turn their friends against them, steal their guildies, etc. Blanket rules usually only apply to those who follow the rules.
    I understand the need for protections in forum but I also see how it prevents us, the pw population from policing our own ranks. They, the pwe staff, want to do the police work (legitimately). However, they also want to keep their investigations secret thus robbing us of any sense of justice served in such cases. This leaves us frustrated and desperate for some way to both vent and retaliate. The forums are often the only place for this.
    Justice is blind, but it should not also be hidden.

    Also, I have edited the first post: Mostly because - I don't believe in breaking Rules. I've sent countless tickets in as well: Reports - etc, and nothing has been done. Nor, do I believe - will be done.

    The G.M.'s can't change the Icon for Healing Orbs or U.Subs mostly due to the fact - it's the D.E.V.'s Job. (the Developer) But, possibly - they can let the
    D.E.V's know about the problem: to try and correct the issue.

    Until it is fixed, one-way or another: Just everyone will have to be careful.
