    Problem is, we're not dealing with people who play by the same rules. There are ways to annoy the **** out of people, destroy their rep, turn their friends against them, steal their guildies, etc. Blanket rules usually only apply to those who follow the rules.
    I understand the need for protections in forum but I also see how it prevents us, the pw population from policing our own ranks. They, the pwe staff, want to do the police work (legitimately). However, they also want to keep their investigations secret thus robbing us of any sense of justice served in such cases. This leaves us frustrated and desperate for some way to both vent and retaliate. The forums are often the only place for this.
    Justice is blind, but it should not also be hidden.
    I couldn't of said this any better myself! :clap: Nicely typed! b:victory

    On the forums, people can use alt accounts, LIKE THIS ONE. How would you like it if someone called you out as a scammer because they didn't like you, and backed it up with 3-4 sockpuppet alts agreeing?

    Honestly? I wouldn't mind...I don't get into that game you are eluding to...My reputation and character speaks for itself and I can defend any attack on my credibility. I think the best of people in this game. I think most want to play honestly and HELP others and am not jaded by the "drama" other try to create in the game.

    It's not illegal? That's odd. It states in ToS
    So I'm confused about the ToS now. Does it mean scamming in general, or just items and scamming you out of your money doesn't matter?

    It is not illegal because selling an item for 65k that gives a clear and accurate description of both the item and price when you mouse over it does not qualify as an action that is meant to "defraud or attempt to defraud, scam or cheat others out of any items that have been earned through authorized game play". I see people with shops named "free" or "stuff you need" all the time. In no case has the stuff ever been free nor has it ever been stuff I need. Should all these players be banned for having shop titles that were lies? That is the only thing that this "scammer" did. He named his shop something that implied he was selling something that people would be happy to pay 65k for when in fact he was not.

    Justice is in fact hidden for a most part, theres a reason media coverage in court trials doesnt happen often, it leads to biased opinionation of the masses, which is not fair. Players do not need to retaliate against any law breaker, let the police do their job, we cant have vigilantes running around trying to get revenge on all the scammers. Its not our job to police our ranks, as it leads to ostrasizing fellow players, even if they misbehave, leading us to commit violations of the TOS as well by inhibiting gameplay or making others miserable. Vigilantism is illegal for a reason buddy!

    I see. That kind of makes sense, though that is a lot of money to lose out because of that. I've actually seen these shops almost every day and when I check back if they're still there, they actually do sell a lot. I WC a name of someone doing that and they logged out right after. b:chuckle

    One sentence.
    "Its only illegal if you get caught"
    ...
    Yeah i found out about that botter-reporting-a-scammer. Heres the hilarious thread.

    And the actual picture got removed because it was against the rules or something so heres the link to the picture.

    Its actually in a quote somewhere on the thread.
    But seriously, people can sell their items at whatever price they like, I mean if the shop actually says "Ult subs 70k" and they sell the healing orbs for 70k, thats scamming. BUt if its just some random name, such as "cheap stuff" and they sell those healing orbs for 70k, its not really scamming.
    Yep,
    This is why this world is going to hell in a pooper scooper, common sense is pretty much extinct these days.

    Obituary for
    Common Sense

    Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend by the name of Common Sense who has been with us for many years.
    No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
    He will be remembered as having cultivated such value lessons as
    knowing when to come in out of the rain,
    why the early bird gets the worm,
    and that life isn't always fair.

    Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn)
    and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not kids, are in charge).

    His health began to rapidly deteriorate when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.
    Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate,
    teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch,
    and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

    It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer aspirin to a student,
    but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

    Finally, Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband;
    churches became businesses;
    and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

    Common Sense finally gave up the ghost after a woman failed to realize
    that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, she spilled a bit on her lap,
    and was awarded a huge settlement.

    Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust;
    his wife, Discretion;
    his daughter, Responsibility;
    and his son, Reason.

    He is survived by two stepbrothers, I know my Rights and I'm a victim.

    Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
    If you still know him pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing
    .

    Let it die already, and it was removed because it violated the forum rules, namely calling other players out.
