June Calendar Creation Contest - WINNERS announced!

Howdy to all my fellow PWI maniacs!

We are pleased as punch to reveal the 5 Calendar Contest winners for the month of June! As always, participation was off the charts and most surprising were the numerous submissions that incorporated different styles of graphical art that we haven't seen much of until now. It's always great to see our users pushing the creative envelope and we hope to see users taking more creative chances with their submissions in the future!

A couple of house-keeping details to sort through before we move on to the winners:

1) Winners will be contacted by email and forum PM's from PWI's new Community Manager (eatwithspoons) later this week to find out which flying mount you wish to receive.

2) We have decided to alter our off-line event/contest scheduling and Calendar Design contests will now take place every other month. The next Calendar Design contest will be for the month of August so look for contest details the first week in July. This change in events scheduling has been done to accommodate the new series of Video making contests we plan on scheduling. Going forward we will have a video contest one month, then a calendar design event, video, calendar, etc, etc.

Big thanks to the 200+ users for participating in June's Calendar contest! We hope to see you back in August and really would like you all to give the video contest a shot as well! b:victory

    Looks like they are skiping July and going for August.. *sight*b:sad I guess my entry for july will be of no use. I'll still post it online once its finished. I'll share it with everybody even if there's no contest for July.b:cute

    Yay!! XD I'm really glad that someone enjoyed my eggs. I really liked making them and the calendar itself. My mom opened the carton the next day, and was like ' .... What is this?!" She enjoyed it... and then cooked them >_<. But at least it was over fast for them.

    Bummer for me but I find it in my heart to be happy for the winners, they really deserved it. And there is always the august one to go for :)

    But slowly, I become demotivated.
    I worked on that two entries for over two weeks.
    Oh well...

    Waiting for the runner ups. But I don't think I will continue participating as it slowly gets frustrating. I thought this time, I could make it. But obviously, it's still not enough and I reached my limits. I can't try any harder.

    Same. Grats to the winners, but on my end, peace out. I'd rather start doing this for money and actually getting something out of it, as clearly all my time and effort isn't to the judges' tastes.

    Here I was waiting around for the winners to be announced and I just now realized they already had been. xD

    Anyways, the calendars this time around were really amazing. People here have some great talent. Congratulations to all the winners, you certainly deserve it.

    To everyone else hopefully you'll enter next time around too. Oh and there's always Runner Ups to look forward to now. I'm sure there will be some amazing ones there too.
