    It's not DR's level that's impressive. It's that Vert and DR are the only two barbarians on Sanctuary's pvp ratings. So while it's nice to hear different theories, it's also nice to know which theories are the ones that are backed up with results.

    I'm not sure that I agree blindly following a proven build is "stupid". Is blindly going your own way, deliberately not listening to the advice of those who have come before you and have generated proven results somehow "intelligent"? Probably neither has anything to do with being smart or dumb, but rather they are just different ways of playing the game with different ideas about which way is more fun.

    I am in PK mode now for a few hours :P yeah i know... I am suicide :P

    Was trying to PK a guy in a wraith attack (he was red)... but he runs a lot... so I give up.

    anyways... 2 days playing and I will be back to normal mode.

    I dont aprreciate much the pvp in this game... its a bit diferent from lineage... If you kill a person with red name... even if you are white... your name becames pink or red.

    About the builds I will keep doing mine... if in the future that build wont work... I can always buy some reset notes.

    My last opinion... make you your own build... dont be a "copy past".

    well ganiju.. if you read what i said.. i said its also a good idea to read guides and get an idea of your class.. you can call it whatever you like.. i said in my opinion it was dumb/silly .. i never called the people doing it dumb or insulted their intelligence (atleast i didn't mean to).. its just i said the action in itself was dumb in my opinion

    No offense, guys, but....a lot of the people with custom builds I meet are absolute phail (except for one incredible archer, he kills BMs ten levels above him and tanks O.O) I'm sticking with the generic tank build. I might experiment and make lower levels, but this is proven to work.

    And yet no one answer my question i ask for the basic fundation of those two builds like if hybrid meant more acc or if pvp ment more acc for hitting others >.> hence why i said stat base and from there i'll work for whats best for me

    i put 3 str and 2 vit every lvl

    is this right for a tank barb?

    i hav 40 dex aswell

    Eh?

    If you ask me, there is one build: tank build. If you want more damage and accuracy in exchange for less vitality, why not go play a blademaster? Tank build is amazing in PvP as well, get yourself a Misty and you should be set. If it's insufficient then level BloodBath a bit... And why would anyone pump MORE strength than what is already required for our axes? It's beyond me.

    Tank build for sure, just get a couple of misty's or if your rich enough TT90 gold rings are the best for PK barbs. I think PK barbs would be useless in TW's and stuff, cause u want the puller of the catapult to survive the longest

    Hmm... I'm not an expert, but, in my opinion, a demon barb would be a little worse thatn sage. Just a very little. What's 1k(ish) hp in true form at lvl 9x, when you already have 15k+? Ho much longer would you survive if you had 18k hp, than if you had 17k? Wouldn't really make a difference. Now, the build, that's a different thing. I have 5 str less than I need for my hh70 axes with no gear on (equips give me like 30 str, so that's ok). All else is in vit (also, have 40 dex, not 39, which is weapon req).

    PS. If by "PK barbs" you mean guys who just level their humanoid skills and have 5 k hp buffed at lvl 70, then I take all the above back. Imho, "PK barb" = demon barb. 20% crit rate helps.

    Lets see here... I'm a pk build, I have 9.9k hp normal form with most of my human form skills top or near top level and I have 8% crit. Pk barbs ftw b:victory

    im tank/vitality build and I do very well in pk... Barbs strongest weapon is armaggedon nd in order for that to be even stronger you need as much HP as possible.
    Im lvl 88 nd I have been killing ppl at lvl90 with full TT90, so I dont see why vitality built barbs cant b good... In the end the way you use your skills and your brain will determine how good your barb will be.

    P.S: Its essential to use your brains when u r building your char, dont jus follow other players advice.
