Whats different between a pvp barb and a hybrid barb with dex like stats wise

    pvp barb definantly.
    i only did a hybrid barb until lvl 40 thats when i started to make the conversion. but still i can take out a fist bm my lvl so WOOO!! b:pleased
    probably one of the smartest in perfect world
    yet the lowest of level

    I just put 1 dex every 2 levels, 1 or 2 vit per level... the rest is Strength.

    why listen to DR? he could be a robe wearing bowbarian for all you know b:chuckle

    you need to follow whatever kinda stats you wanna play..

    tank build.. obvious.. easy to do.. min req for dual axes.. everything else in vit.. cap your str/dex at either the lvl 70 or lvl 90 axe requirement (XS or GX... whichever you wanna work towards.. XS being way easier but i'd never recommend using XS end game)

    pvp pure damage build.. cap your vit at 50 or 60.. pump your str.. maybe a bit extra dex but in the end if you go demon and have mistys.. thats like 400% acc right there

    pvp perdition build.. go for the same as the tank build.. keep your health high as **** and wack the **** out of people with perdition.. it can do heavy damage if used properly..

    basically.. tank barbs can become pretty good at pvp at 80 - 90 + because they can start getting their humanoid skills up with the extra sp.. and still do good damage .. and as long as they are geared properly.. with misty rings and such .. they can deal quite a bit of punishment

    If the level 93's a robe wearing bowbarian...I wanna be a robe wearing bowbarian b:shocked SO PvP's base dex for equips, maybe a little more, no mre wit than 50-60, then pure str? Sorry, I have trouble with builds unless it's specific amounts >.< Hope that wasn't rude.

    he coulda restatted after leveling that high .. haha (he isn't.. but i'm just saying basing everything off level is silly.. there are people who just power level all day long .. or oracle their way up the ladder who don't know how to play their class for ****)

    you just have to feel it out.. as i said there are 2 possibilities .. you probably wanna keep your dex in multiple of 20.. cause i think thats when you get an extra % crit.. anything past that is excessive..

    and perdition (a barbs big damage dealer.. our only good KO weapon besides bestial onslaught) is based on health.. so thats why i said vit build can also work for a barb

    a barbs call to fame is their massive hp pool.. so i think its bad to not exploit that

    now i'm a full tank build.. just now started getting humanoid skills (mighty swing and bestial onslaught.. the others don't really interest me)

    i put out pretty **** damage.. but i sure can take a lot of hits

    I'm sort of a hybrid (by mistake). I'm a tank build with not a lot of tiger skills. I just saw a couple high levels saying PvP build was good, and thought I'd make one for fun on a PvP server.

    any class in this game that has someone who knows what they are doing controlling it can be good at pvp ... you just have to learn a classes strengths and weaknesses.. know when to run.. know when to unload.. having good gear/charms/apoth pots always helps too

    Not really, with about 11-13k-ish of HP humanoid form, I can easily get kill in a PK fest. <3

    what are you even saying not really to?

    are you saying i can't really take a lot of hits? because i can o.O

    and your HP has nothing to do with my ability to take hits.. and your HP just increases your survivability .. doesn't necessarily mean you are gonna get a kill.. although it does help perdition damage

    High str pure damage build until lvl 60, then restat to tank. It's an absolute pain in the @ss to grind otherwise.b:victory

    11K HP in human form... that means you dont have bloodbath in battles.

    And even without bloodbath having 11K Hp is to much... your damage isnt great thing... plus missing all the time. You just die more slow... nothing more.
    Besides why wasting so many points in HP if you have High physical defense and HP charms (dont come with excuses cause everione uses it)? Isnt better have less 1K HP and better physical attack?

    Reading this thread, I guess I'm left with two questions:

    1) How exactly does either Verticoli or DarkRings build a pvp barbarian? That's the advice I'd want to listen to.

    My normal HP with *tank* or *TW* build is around 13k+.
    My HP w/ BB = 11-12k depend on the equips I'm using.(Diff rings, diff belt. etc.)

    And get one hit by an archer, wiz, or cleric?

    i dunno i lasted pretty long in fridays TW against your faction b:chuckle

    and wolfy.. the reason i said that (as i explained before) is because just blindly trusting someone because they have attained a certain level is stupid.. it wasn't a knock against DR or saying hes bad..

    also: vert got a lot of his kills just sitting SP killing people lower than him as far as i know.. NWO had a good run with land but i don't think thats how he got most of his kills .. i might be mistaken ... whenever i see vert its in SP ..

    but in the end.. you can trust whoever you want.. copy whoevers build you want.. but i think you should just experiment and make your own build and see what works for you.. if domnitigers build is working for him.. good for him.. thats how he wants to play

    all of you people trying to find cookie cutter builds and just copy the higher levels need to discover your own things thats how a game advances and doesn't become a boring game where everyone has the same build

    Devarsi... in your last sentece put all people except me... i didnt read any guides or copy high levels builds... I create my own build and play with it, in fact guides are for people that dont know how to play, the first guys playing this game I doubt they play with guides too.

    Dark rings... Thats the reason I add more physical attack for my barb... he already have lots of defense and Hp... And why you go Pk fest in your own? Isnt this a team game or is solo one?

    edit: also its not bad to look at guides and get a general idea of the class you want to play..

    but its just silly to try to find something and follow it exactly to the letter in my opinion

    The only thing I learned in guides its 3 ways of being barb... Hybrid, Tank and pvp, and believe me I am none of that.

    Why should I do a pvp build like darkrings If I am in a pve server? Does this make logic/any sence?
