I've always wondered what they were, and the closest thing I could come up with was the deer thing. But now that you've explained and mentioned about it.. it does make sense. Chinese dragons do resemble the same horn forms as the veno does.0

all this argument over lil things like me? it says in the descriptions of venos that we evolved from the cute and small animals. snakes, bunnies, foxes, and what naught. if someone was going to be a dragon..likely it would have been the barbs. i choose deer..but i mean antelope. i feel it is the most logical choice. if they were kirin..then i feel we'd have to be much more ornate ..and we'd need tails..for dragons/kirin have them and they are quite prominent. i'd also like to state that anyone who isn't open to debate or even wants to consider the possibility of being wrong has no business creating a poll or a conversation on the topic for that matter. it shows what a sad person you really are.If you look to the dawn

I voted deer because I always thought that they looked like antlers, not horns, and I have never, ever seen a dragon sporting antlers before. Except for the kirins in this game, and who cares? Deer are just as graceful and beautiful as dragons anyway!

I voted deer because I think deer girls kinda fit more into the 'pretty' girls that the venomancer does. I mean, the fox is cute, cat is cute, bunny.....obviously is cute, so I think that the deer fits the 'cute' more than a kirin.
Also, in chinese mythology, the dragon was a symbol of power and generally represented the strength of males (Phoenix represented females). Dragons would be more suited to barbs in that sense, anyways. And, since PW was originally a chinese mythological game, wouldn't they suit the classes to fit the mythology? The antlers for a female veno would be more as a deer than a dragon in that case.0 -
