I notice a lot of threads addressing the rollback non-rollback problem have been either deleted or closed, except for a few more general threads. I think the GMs/mods/devs should know that closing the threads do not solve the problem. It just silences the issues that were not fixed. The purpose of this post/thread is not to point out those issues, but to draw attention to the fact that closing everything only aggravates people and doesn't solve anything. The longer you guys wait on an actual roll back, the harder the decision is to make, so I think many players are just curious to know whether or not a solution is planned for the economic problem that DOES exist. By providing that simple answer, the people whose threads you're closing would most likely peacefully move to another game without hassling any more of you staff members with these threads, and it's in your best interest to at least SAY what you're planning (or lack thereof).
I just want to put that thought out there and if it gets closed, so be it. If it gets an answer out of you staff members, even better. I just hope you see this as not a complaint but a request.

We understand completely don't get me wrong. Many posts and threads end up being moved because people decide to cross the line or the thread turns into a flame war. That is more of the reason many are moved. We allow constuctive critisism but not the flame wars or comments from people who have not kept themselves up to date on the subject that just decide to bash everyone in the thread who disagrees. All of everyone's comments are seen and considered, you all just need to wait for answers that will come in due time.

Why not just punish those trolling then? Yes i did notice many people are just posting personal attacks or plain flames against each other.
But why delete topics with a clear topic that should be discussed and/or have points that should be of public view?
Could just delete the POSTS of those people causing trouble instead.(Retired from Perfect World)

Sometimes that is not the easiest solution. I have seen your posts about you being a forum mod for a different company so you should know our pain. Difference is, not all companies operate under the same policies (such is business) and we have our own policies regarding the forums. We do appreciate the suggestion though b:laugh

Sometimes that is not the easiest solution. I have seen your posts about you being a forum mod for a different company so you should know our pain. Difference is, not all companies operate under the same policies (such is business) and we have our own policies regarding the forums. We do appreciate the suggestion though b:laugh

Then check out roflmaodx or whoever he is. Claims his account was banned and is posting all over the forums. In my eye, thats circumventing a ban and is grounds for a perma ban.

trust me when I say that. If the person wants to out themselves for this, cool, but there are ways to do so and that is why I explained why threads are/do move or disappear.

If GMs actually consider our posts and feelings, They would have clearly rolled back. To late now, You guys didn't see the voting poll? Over 700 votes and most were to yes.. 65% voted yes atleast .. But instead you guys ignored it and posted pointless posts as seen by kanto 'I like turtles', Same with shazzbots pointless posts.. Sure they could be funny and GMs having a laugh with players is cool, But in a serious time like yesterday found it pretty disappointing that GMs rather mess around rather then answer our questions. Now theres no roll back, Im sure the level 30s and people that grinded for 15 hours are happy.. But you can't honestly tell me theres not exploited money and items bought with that money running around? You did a good job but.. 70 accounts SUSPENDED, Ok thats weak..PERM BANNED would have been justified. The money you took out of game isn't even close to how much was running around, as players in sanctuary saw people with way more then 200m each.. You guys showed us a big thing yesterday, YOU don't care about the community. You lock threads, Edit YOUR own posts to cover up stuff.. Just like the charm pack issue, You guys editted posts saying the packs would be PERMANENT.. GG on keeping the community happy. Darthpanda says GMs play as players with no special powers and cannot use the cashshop, He says you guys pick up botters and what not.. Well tell me why I was standing infront of frankie n kanto with glitched gloves on, Whispered them both and shouted it out.. Neither said a word, Instead they were talking about duels.. Hmm pretty funny once again, Not paying attention to the important stuff.
GMs do a good job around here I admit, But ya'll really need to start paying attention to your members. Im aware they wouldn't have seen my whisper due to 100000 noobs spamming them, But when its server clear and west Arch has like 5 people.. Pretty sure they seen my shout. I've used the ticketing system, I've used the /GM thing in whisper 'IM STUCK' ok then ya Im really stuck...Im not stuck..I found a glitch/Botter..So Im going to keep doing /GM thing until I get an actual response..It took 2 weeks to get a a GM to handle an auto talker, Yes reported atleast 5 times a day for 2 weeks.. Took a GM that long, IN A COMMON AND POPULATED SPOT..Im sure GMs play as real members...(Sarcastic).. Cuz if they do then they would have seen it easly..
Just my feelings and hopefully GMs will pay attention to this post, Once again nothing to offend GMs yall do SOME good work.. Just thats my feelings and opinions on this kind of stuff.0 -

Of course they won't change anything. They have already made their statment by letting the exploiters keep most of the laundered coins. I am sort of waiting for a reason why we should bother to play on this server knowing this is what will happen next time someone finds an exploit. Maybe we've got it all wrong. Maybe instead of grinding/TT/fb/zhen we should be probing every part of teh game for exploits, since now thats what we would have to do to keep up with others. And yes I was online when the exploit was found, and I continued to do business at normal pre-gltich prices, so to those who say will "you're just mad you didn't know about it". Well I could have very easily exploited the situation, but I like many other respectable people chose not to. Well it seems Lessie either enjoys flaming or trolling and neither are really worth the time it takes to read them, so better to just ignore them I say. Well back to the concern at hand. People were essentially cheated and we want to know why. Is that not a fairly valid concern. On top of that to all appearances, the people we (well some of us) trusted made a choice that clearly falls short of a responsible clean up, at least in a fair amount of players opinions. All it would take is a GM post saying, "sorry our backups showed errors so we couldn't use that one", or "we felt that the records we had were enough to track and remove the excess coins" to settle the anger of at least a good part of their audience.

Besides, my questions are not really directed at you, so what are you doing here anyway? Pursuing an argument with a single concerned user, which it most definitely seems you are doing, is a rather pointless endeavor. No one likes rollbacks, but if you truly can read then you'll find hundreds of reasons why it was demanded by so many here on the forums. In short, it would have completely neutralized the unfair advantage, where the answer our GMs chose clears up very little, again to all appearances from our side.
