Im mostly just making this thread because I need to find something new to read/watch. Just post all of the manga/anime that you think is good.

    One Piece is awesome. I have a pseudo-friend who draws in the same style and made a doujinshi for Hitman Reborn [via same style and humor]. :D

    I figured I should make a better list than my first one, so I'm rating all the manga and anime I've seen on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the highest):

    Hikaru no Go was good, but that ending was just ridiculous. Looked more like "Eh, I'm sick of writing this. Let's just put a crappy end to it."

    I'll admit that i haven't seen a whole lot of anime in my time but recently I've been watching through a series called "Mushishi" and have been enjoying it immensely. the episodes are dripping with atmosphere and i really like its meditative, deliberate pacing. sound design and music composition is also top-notch.

    anime is short for "animation" or "animated" and im pretty sure FFVII:Advent Children is animated?

    well, real anime is japanese animation...but I think a cartoon based on FF would be made in Japan, so I guess it is still anime.
