ANNOUNCEMENT: Server Maintenance, 1:45 a.m. (Complete)

ANNOUNCEMENT:

We will perform routine server maintenance for one hour, early in the morning, on Nov. 2 (Sunday) at 1:45 a.m. Because of Daylight Saving Time, when service is restored 1 hour later it will still be 2 am, 3am at the latest. A small patch, with no gameplay changes, will also be made available upon restoration of service.

ALSO:

Please make sure that you open any Halloween Gift Boxes (along with related weapon/ornament/ armor packs) before servers shut down for the Nov. 2 maintenance. The boxes will be rendered useless after Nov. 2 at 1:45 a.m.

    If you are not yet level 20, you can give your box to someone who is and have them open it for you. The level of the item that comes from the box is tied to the person who opens it, though, so if you want to be able to use it as soon as possible try to find someone who is in their 20s to open it rather than someone in their 40s or 50s.

    How exactly is that gonna work out with the TWs starting at Midnight?

    I mean if a TW starts at midnight and could last till 3 AM, but you shut down the servers at 2 AM, how exactly is that fair?

    All of our times are PST; the servers won't go down until approximately three hours after the TW times end.

    Oh great... so I met this other player who was really pissed by the "event". He basically spent all his money to get a guardian angel ingame, and got a box he couldn't open (and at the time I couldn't tell him what to do with it).

    I haven't seen him since, but if he ever comes back he'll not only have wasted all his money on a lottery, he'll also have a price that will be useless?

    There is no technical reason to disable the boxes. There is no financial reason to do so. This is what, just "hey, we can **** up people, so let's do it, it's fun!"

    I guess I was lucky... didn't play the lottery. I didn't know about this maintenance until right now, or that the boxes would be disabled.

    Had a TW scheduled for 12:00am that started at 9:00pm so... Maybe not all times on the server are PST?

    Can somebody tell me which time is it in germany when the servers will be back? I tried to find out which time it will be because of the pst time?? Please b:cry

    Server maintenance was scheduled for 12am PST (what is that again?and what time is the site's clock set upon?) now time has gone to the pm area(according to the site's clock at least) and still no connection to the update server or the game itself of course
    Is it just me or the servers are not up yet?

    Damn, it would've been the perfect time to play a little... Oh well, time to buy some Coke and Snacks for the following, ridiculously long gaming session, during which I'll neglect all my chores and responsibilities concerning next week :)

    According to the first post by the GM, servers should be back up w/in the next half hour at the latest. Also, if you want to know if it's back up or not, why do you need an annoucement? Go to the home page and look for a little green dot next to the server name then you'll know its back up.
