Just want to say something. Since the admins of this site made the review contest I saw lots of stupid reviews popping up. Like PC.IGN: http://rr.pc.ign.com/rrobj/pc/object/856741/ . People that give the game a 9.5+ for graphics, gameplay, sound etc..Come on people.
Comparing to other MMORPG's it has some nice graphics but its not stunning..When real magazins and sites would review this game it would have a 7-8 for graphics, 7-8 for sound 7 for gameplay cause its all grinding (all quests are kill them all which will get a bad rating).
The only review I could take serious here is: http://rr.pc.ign.com/rrview/pc/perfect_world/856741/90379/ . This is the only one who gives a critical reviewing (which is normal), the others still think that how better the ratings they give the higher chance they win something....THIS ISN'T GOOD AT ALL!!!!
I warned for it on the admin page and they already said that you may give a normal rating but i don't thing people readed that....People that don't know the game will be wrong informed about this game now THANKS!
Also the fact that it takes LOTS of months to reach a high level 9max level is almost out of the question here even for HC gamers) and that you realy need to use the cash shop for full game profit would give a negative note to gameplay...so it CAN'T GAIN A 9+ cause 8.5+ is only for PEFECT GAMES.....

All quests are not to kill something at all.
And not everyone have the same opinion. Maybe someone thinks this game has stunning graphics, while someone else, who has seen a lot of other games, might not think so at all. It's all about what you, as a person, find nice and what you've seen before this to compare to.
You can't expect everyone who plays a game to have seen something better.
After I went to the Sanctuary in game, I think this game looks amazing at some points. Probably wouldn't give it 9.5 or whatever, but still pretty high.
Also, wouldn't a perfect game get 10? Giving something less than 10 means there are flaws and it's not quite perfect.0 -

If you look on the site all people give it a 9+ since the contest released (only one not). This isn;t realy reflecting the game cause then it would be better then all other mmorpg's currently excist.....

Yea, but then again, those people reviewing the game in magazines and such are probably a bit more professional than your average player. You're not being fair by compare them like that.0 -

When you look at the reader reviews of other mmorpg's PW has current the highest note.....Maybe peoplem like the game but thenthey still could give between 8-9 and not idiot scores of 9.8 for graphics and 9-9.8 for overall scores....0 -

Sometimes you can't even trust Gamespot's reviews. Example: AoC ^^. Watch video, go to forums will be the next steps after reading those words.
But in most cases, Gamespot's official reviews are good to read.Why...so...serious?

PEFECT GAMES. I play them.
Also, that's exactly the intention of the "contest": to generate posititve buzz. They made the event to cause a massive flow of "viral marketing" via word-of-mouth (gamesite reviews); and yes, they were fully aware that most of them would be ****-kissing when they wrote them. In fact, that's the whole point. If they wanted you to write scathing/critical reviews of the game (like "Dude, there's gold farming bots in closed beta"), then they'd just wait for the normal cycle to carry out. But they want to basically drown those out with this flood of ****-kissing reviews so that it looks like the best game ever to anyone who should be browsing that site (much like how Xfire's usage graph for Rohan looking like a cliff diver over the course of a month warded new players of its downward spiral).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Anyone rating PW over this is biased/brown nosing:
Music: 7.0. It's good, but the bitrate ruins the sound quality.
Sound effects: 3-5: The monster sounds are awful, and using a sword sounds like you are using a wood club.
Graphics: 6 tops, they are terribly dated no matter how you look at it. It gets as high as a 6 only because it's 8 years old and yet still has better graphics than most MMOs.
Gameplay: 6-7 tops. Heirograms ruin the game (especially if the cost is high), and PVE is a joke for anything exept werefox because of how hard things hit.
Community: 7 tops. To many karmelias, whiners, etc. I don't think it's POSSIBLE to have a rating of over 7 for community unless it's a roleplay-enforced community (as lame as I think one would be)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Quite frankly, when I see 7 reviews giving a note between 9 and 9.6 for this game.... it's a good game, but not that good.... And it's still only in closed beta....

I actually think 9.0 is too low rating for a nearly perfect game like this one. My overall rating would be 9.5 or higher. I almost can't think of anything wrong/annoying/lacking in the game, since it is 98% perfect. :eek::eek:0
