Same sex marriage

Hello to everyone, this is my first post. :)


Now to the topic.

Anyone know if it's possible for the same gender to get married in the game?

If not, I'd like a staff's point of view. I don't think there is anything politcally or otherwise
incorrect in it in a game, since some males play as female characters and vice versa.

Opinnions are welcome.

    Probably wont' happen since the devs are in China. But hey, with an American company running this version, maybe they can figure out a way to implement it.

    No, it's not.

    I don't think i ever saw it possible in any game.

    And since this game originates from China, which is a very conservative society, I doubt it will ever happen in this game.

    Yeah, I took that to account. I wonder if all the content upgrades are done from china or if
    international version has it's own team. Taking to account that it's free to play, I'd say china.
    Oh well, one could always dream.

    Off-topic: Never got so many responses in such a short time. What a fantastic community we are having here.

    I think many of us coming from MY-EN servers are very excited about playing on this version, which promise to be 100 times better. :)

    I say "No thank-you" to same-sex marriages. Seeing as how the other Perfect World servers will never implement it, I honestly doubt we will ever see this.

    A similar question was already asked during PW Live Chat on Xfire:

    Lrod (hellfreez19): Will **** marriage be added later on?

    [PW] Arius (eldavius) Answers : Although, I personally would love to have it implemented, but apparently no such options is available. We could suggest it to the developers though. =]

    Yes, but these are different licensers in a different locale of the world. Who knows what could change :>

    Let's hope so, it's called Perfect World... It'd be really interesting to have it implemented - the only thing I'm afraid of is more female-female marriages than 'normal' ones :P

    uh... i doubt it will happen but we'll see.
    I just hope that this time, after the GM team gives an official response to this issue, the forums won't be flooded with countless dublicate threads (i'm really naive, am i not?)

    I just want to see the same sex being able to carry each other, it would help alot in getting around ^^;

    Perfect World International is a changing game, constantly being updated and evolving. However I cannot confirm nor deny that feature will be added anytime in the near future.

    Hey guys this is a game, not a paradise for **** people, (i dont mean that iam ageist), but its not correct in a game, because players are mostly childrens, i think it would be really bad to put in their small and young minde that they have choice btw 2 kinds of marriage, and it could even make some ****!!

    - Children aren't gonna be **** just because they're grossed out by other people being ****. Almost always, **** isn't a choice, rather, it's just an inborn kinda thing.

    Oh. You edited that in lol. Sneaky. Well, if people from different cultures don't like it then I guess they'd just be disgusted and leave. Seeing as how this game won't have it implemented, though, it's not really a big deal.

    Ps i am really happy to see Admin telling this "Perfect World International is a changing game, constantly being updated and evolving."!!
    Because at the moment i am playing Perfect World MY, it really sucks, almost never ugraded, item mail sucks!! (some items are added to item mail with wrong way, for exemple the "princess suit" has the pic of one other suit"
    And they NEVER answerd to my emails, asking suport cause the gamed buged, well many bugs!!
    :( really sad to have a hight lv char in that MY PW

    Perfect world, is a really perfect game, but it needed a better country to gerate it, now it has that!!
    PERFECT WORLD IS NOW JUST PERFECT!! SURE I WILL MOUVE TO PW INTERNATIONAL!!

    a question will chars will be deleted at the end of closed beta?

    I couldn't agree more with what was said above. And personally, I wouldn't like to see A Werebeast and a Human Male making out in the center of town :eek: But that's just my opinion.

    Sorry BUT THIS A GAME FOR ALL !!! 99% OF HUMAINS ARE HETERO!! I DONT THINK THAT PW INTERNATION WANNA BECOME THE SYMBOLE OF **** GAME

    parents wont let their children even play:p Pw-Int will be ruined :p

    BUT SOMETHING for all MY PW PLAYERS!!! LETS MOUVE TO PW INTERNATIONAL !!!!!!
