Players, create characters and submit them to us on the Forums! From there, they will be put up to a community vote.



Starts: Friday, June 23rd (6/23/2017) 10 AM PST

Ends: Friday, July 7th (7/7/2017) 11:59 PM PST --- DEADLINE EXTENDED! Ends July 12th



Voting Starts: Wednesday July 12th (7/12/2017) 10 AM PST

Voting Ends: Wednesday July 19th (7/19/2017) 11:59 PM PST





Prizes

There will be 4 winners from each server!



1st Place

x1 Dull Zenith Skull

Choice of Any fashion in-game (Except for Officer Fashion Set) + Dyed with the specific non-random pigment of your choice!

** Please note: if a fashion you select is undyable, you will not be able to receive the dye option, but you will still receive the fashion.



2nd Place

x3 Dull Zenith Skull Shard

Choice of Any fashion in-game (Except for Officer Fashion Set)

x10 Hot Colors Packs



3rd Place

x2 Dull Zenith Skull Shard

Choice of Any fashion in-game (Except for Officer Fashion Set)

x5 Hot Colors Packs



4th Place

x1 Dull Zenith Skull Shard

Choice of Any fashion in-game (Except for Officer Fashion Set)

Rules

Players must create a character according to specific guidelines.

The character MUST be done in-game. For an entry to be considered, the following Screenshots must be submitted -

x1 ini Validation (Send the ini file to @kalystconquerer#0876 via PM on the Forums-copy paste the text. I will check the ini file to make sure the SS provided match the edit).

You may edit the SS's together if you wish, but if any elements are missing (Profile UI shot, Beauty Shots or Timestamp SS), the entry will not be considered. Please also be sure to submit your in-game name and your server alongside your entry!



How do I change my Character?

To participate and use a pre-existing character, you must use a Makeover Scroll.

Don't have one? If you want to participate, the first one is on us! Use this code to redeem for x1 Makeover Scroll!

You can also purchase additional scrolls in the Event Boutique or purchase them from the regular Boutique! Or, you may create a brand new character with your desired edits!

The name of the character you enter does not have to match the name you are submitting under, but please be sure to list your in-game name and server so that the rewards can be sent to the proper character!

Don't know how to locate your INI files?

In your PWI File Folder (the one that houses your actual client, not the Arc folder) Navigate to -> element -> userdata -> character ->customize

To find your ini file, you will have have to saved it out in-game as a Preset. Make sure you name it appropriately.

For new characters, you can save it here :

Each folder (00,01,10 etc.) represents a class coupled with it's gender.

Ex. 00 is Male Blademaster, 01 is Female Blademaster

    Another question...

    May I submit a ton of characters with the same theme but showcase them on different classes?

    Also will the ini be checked for originality?

    Cause I would not be surprised if people steal others ini's from websites and claim them as there own.

    I know you can use fashion but can you use hairstyles in this? I don't want to submit something with a hairstyle and get Disqualified.

    Idc if boutique hair isn't allowed and I get disqualified, it's just for good fun. Submitted ini data through GM ticket as well as couldn't PM. Can provide it on request if this isn't sufficient.

    @kalystconquerer i suppose ini-editing isnt allowed since it must be done ingame? so no earthguard eyes on other classes and so on?

    It's the file that contains all the information that determines how a character looks. If you're making a new character, you can save the ini data as a file during character creation; but if you're entering a pre-existing character you will need to use the make-over scroll in order to do this.

    You can find character ini data in your PWI userdata folder. The folder pathway should look something like this;
    C:\Program Files (x86)\PWI_en\element\userdata\character\customize. You can easily find guides on the forum through a simple google search for ini guides, which should identify all the numbered folders you see in the customize folder, as well as all the information you see inside these files. For example, file 110 contains default male stormbringer ini files.
