give people on EU server choice to move servers

being dragged into the EU server was kinda crappy. bad times for US ppl and alot of guilds are EU so they arent on when US ppl are. just a thought. discuss

i understand but thats why they made an EU server. i made a toon on HL in 2009 that i can now not use to full capacity. im just saying its dumb. if something is done about it cool, if not i will keep complaining.0

Aye they made the EU server, however, those of us long term players have been around since before EU server and as such we miss out on 90% of events. It would be nice if we could change servers or have a way of catering to all time zones.0

This issue has been brought up many, many times.
I understand people being annoyed because they are on the wrong server (either because there was no EU server when they started playing, or because they were forced with the merge). I was one of those people that went from US server to EU as soon as possible, and starting from scratch was more an a hassle than fun. It would be awesome if you could change server, but..!
I don't have the full explanation (you should look for Sylenthunder's), but the simple answer is "too hard, too messy, CN not bothering to deal with it"
Or something along those lines.

Would need PWE to push this. China is 1 or 2 timezones. PWCN have no need for an option like this.

Wasn't there a proposal of having double events through the day for the EU server?
Like, tiger at 9pm like always, then at a time that would be fitting for the US players.
Then the thread about it just died and everyone just gave up on it.0 -
its not just the events, though that is also kinda annoying, alot of the player base is more EU than not. seems like the server is dead unless i get up in the middle of the night and its flourishing. maybe they can figue out something in the CS or maybe not. i just would like if something can be done. not gonna rage quit if it doesnt, just would like it explored a bit further0

The system is hard coded for most events again due to the fact PWCN has 1/2 time zones they dont need this.0 -
One of the main reasons PWE didnt want server transfers was because they were worried about everyone merging into 1 server, now that all 3 servers are at different timezones and they only allow 1 server swap per month/year or so. This should be fine and please alot of ppl......0

Agreed but eh still being eu on NA server isn't too bad except for Sunday NW and depending which country Thursday night fight because you lose 2hrs of sleep before work but eh still better than 11am during work hours bleh should just make 2 servers make a poll and pick. You don't know what you're saying. You might be frustrated now..but you would hardcore regret going to any other server. Still..ping might not be that much of an issue for most since everytime I tried logging in to TT I always had max 300 ping...sure, a slight delay here and there but it was ok overall. Back in the Sanctuary days I had a constant ping of 500+ tho. That was annoying.
I just say..wait for the god damn arena..it's not that long anymore. This will fix alot of issues (create new ones as well but at least PvP around the clock).
All these problems and complaints could vanish into thin air (cept for ping) if anyone would just be doing 1v1s instead of mass-pvp nonsense...but oh well.0 -

I, for one, won't be bored. No matter which server I'm on or who might be joining, I'll most likely stay on top in terms of 1v1. That's all that matters for me. Maybe there will be new challanges, that would indeed be neat. I don't have that much time due to work as well, IDGAF about all events, I don't need them. Looking at your char then you don't need them just the same..heck who tf needs any of the events. They are a massive waste of time. Just some 1v1 actions on the weekend is enough for me.
Aside from that, I enjoy my multitude of chars in PvE and who knows, with the rune expansion on the horizon..maybe I can get back into farming for alot of profit if the instance will be as hard as people claim it to be. There is always a way to "solo" it :P So much more enjoyable then random PvP but whatever floats anyones boat.
As for your personal problems xD It was your own decision to RQ Crisis and join the wrong side. To this day...if you even try to claim that Infa has more skilled people then Crisis then...I don't even...on equal gears I prolly easily wipe the floor with anything Infa has in a 1v1 without breaking a sweat. Crisis at least has me, Ruby and Incu for 1v1 proficiency. INB4 but in Mass-PvP...nah bro. Infa sucks in Mass-PvP just as much and will never be superior to Crisis in terms of skill and coordination. We had 60v60 xtw with a majority of NP players on your side and Crisis has won. Oh, well. Karma is a beautiful thing after all

Sorry if someone feels attacked by anything I said. I care about skill and skill alone. Personal feelings or anything of the likes will not be considered if PvP is the topic and the amount of QQ some people have about PvP does not correlate to their PvP skill at all. You might be forgetting the fact that when you RQed Crisis and joined Infa that there have been ALOT more Endgame people in Infa then there have been in Crisis. So much for that...you Rq'ed because Crisis has lost due to massive outgearing/outnumbering and then join the very same faction. You have no right to complain about this at all.
Sorry, when I mass-PvPed (and I did pretty much everyday for about 6 months after the merge or even a bit longer) I didn't really see that balanced 20v20...quite the opposite. Crisis was always outnumbered and being ganked by literally every other faction on the server. During these times Crisis only had Mayhem as their allies and thats that. It's been balanced maybe when each session started but short after it was always 10v20 or even more. I don't know whats wrong with your memory. You have been there as well.
This is the very same on each and every of all the server PWI has to offer so I am sorry, if that doesnt please you then you should just look for another game. Me personally, IDGAF about Mass-PvP due to the very same reasons. Imbalanced, unequal garbage PvP is not something I like. I do my 1v1s sometimes and am very happy with that.

If they ever gonna allow people to transfer server, I think the best option would be to give a time limited one-time transfer option to only the old HL people . Giving everybody the chance would probably hurt the servers, everybody would end up on the same server... Even though I really wish I could play on EU timezone and with some sweet ping.
Also im against merging any server together again because that means xNW would never ever have the chance of coming back! /o/0 -

I wasn't triggered, tbh I am pretty bored today since there isn't alot to do at work but in all honesty I am just trying to prevent you from making a huge mistake. I know you earn alot of money..but you already burned through so much for literally nothing...Dude. Cmon. Roll on the other server and you will see that its not better than Dawnglory...heck, mostly its even worse. Just saying.
Rather save up some $$ and buy something like this:

Some events are hard coded to the server time (such as Wraith Hunters and Penguins) while other can be done any time of the day by players (Twilight Survivor, Big Bad Bounty Hunter etc.). Still others can be spawned whenever (Pinata Bosses).
When we create new events going forward, each type of event will present unique challenges. Hard coding makes it programed to fire off at a set time, and as such, can cause issues for those zoning in from a different time zone or if any sweeping changes are made to server set ups. Creating "spawnables" like Pinata's makes it to where someone has to actively go in and make sure they're done on time, so there could be inconsistencies. If we don't announce times and make them random pop up events, then we have to make sure the frequency is high enough that anyone could reasonably participate, but not so much that it ruins the novelty of the event. If we do a "set it and forget it" event, players can interact with it and do it whenever it is convenient. My fear is it ultimately being viewed as a "daily" and people shying away from it, even if it is for a limited time. These are some of the thoughts and considerations.
We have a general mix of these kinds of events, though alot of really compelling ones seem to heavily favor the "set to server time" variety. I'll see if we can get some new ones that can fit a more flexible model versus time coded!
If we only allow some people to merge as a one time deal, then we might get players going "well why can't I do it if you allowed them to?" As far as I know, we do not have any plans at this time to do server transfers whether via an item or manually. I know it's particularly frustrating for people affected by this or see it affecting cross server events, but that would be as far as I'm willing to allow a derail like this to go. It's definitely something that's being noted as an issue post merges, but I can't say for certain if the current situation will change in the future, so I don't want to set any unrealistic expectations.

That Harslands server should've just been merged into Tideswell, I don't play Tideswell or Dawnglory but its my understanding Tideswell is the lowest populated server while Dawnglory is the most populated.
If a one time merge could happen, the reason for only them ,Harshlands moving to Tideswell, can be the company is fixing a mistake it made. No need for discussions. I'm sure it would be a open close situation... just my opinion tho.0 -

Why should only Da players be allowed to move?
If they where going to do it they should allow all servers... saying on Da is one sided... its like me saying only players who played before 2010 can have their toon moved.
As I agree with the fact they should allow or be ABLE to do this more to the point the odds of this are so low. Mind if we dont keep pushing the issue then we wont get anything on this so keep pushing it BUT not to a point where its out of control.0 -

Joe says incu proficiency and yet he refuses 1v1 from anyone who ask besides himself and Ruby. You can count him if he actually accepted 1v1 outside two ppl... unlike you or ruby who 1v1 multi ppl o.o alright..... Also you have ssf for 1v1 he can destroy anyone in crisis too don't forget him! Also I wasn't in any guild during 60v60 but who are the Nuema Portal? Besides Sneaky and Nemki what other NP please don't say the archer who isn't even logged pretty sure it doesn't even have update dailies......
Can we stop dragging in NP into such things? DA has ATLEAST 10-20 NP and guess what? Probably 3-5 are decent the rest are ALL a relatively small threat. NP is very nice but doesn't make you god I won't try and trash talk by using names but let's be frank can you name 5 NP extremely op players that change the tide on DA currently?
